Autumn. Autumn in Melbourne is the best, most beautiful time of year. Long, warm days, lots of sun, everything gets red and brown, hardly any rain, there’s a whole heap of stuff on. If you catch the tail end of summer it’s the best. (March - April/Early June)

a shoe sounds like “achoo”, the sound of sneezing? so the person who asks what un zapato is misunderstands that they’re being provided with the answer of “a shoe”, thinking they’ve sneezed so gives the common response of salud, which is a polite blessing after someone has sneezed.
