𝙆𝘼𝙆𝘼𝙎𝙃𝙄 𝙎𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙀 𝙏𝙊 𝙃𝙄𝙈𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙁 𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿𝙉'𝙏 𝙎𝙀𝙀 𝘼 𝙎𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙇𝙀 𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙇 𝙏𝙊𝘿𝘼𝙔. today he would put his hokage duties aside and relax for once damn it. his clothes couldn't be more casual and most just passing wouldn't notice it was kakashi, current hokage sneaking his way out of his house to grab miso soup from his favorite place. but a familiar face catches his eye and it stops kakashi in his tracks. iruka appears confused, searching through the sea of people before spotting him. crap. guilt washes over him when he notes the box in his hand as he happily bounds over. a gift ? for him ? silently he eyes the gift before moving his gaze to iruka's smiling face. reaching out he takes the box, undoing the small bow and lifting the lid. snacks . . . there's even eggplant.

❛ iruka . . . thank you. had no clue you were such a cook. ❜ there's a pause as kakashi gently covers up the box and tucks it under his arm. this was supposed to be a day to himself, all alone . . . but now in iruka's presence he realizes he doesn't want to be alone, not completely. ❛ i was just going to get miso. want to come with . . . ? ❜ his tone is casual but clear nervousness is behind his gaze. it'd be so lame if he got rejected. but it's worth a shot.

kakashi bday asks . . . accepting.

" voice was filled with harsh sarcasm. an eyebrow was raised as grey eyes met the other's gaze before head turned. the fringes of the brown leather jacket moved as she quickly raised her arm, taking another shot of vodka. " come back next wednesday if you wanna TRY and fight me. if you succeed you'll even win some cash. "

𝙄𝙏 𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙎 𝙎𝙊 𝙁𝘼𝙎𝙏. blue eyes squeeze shut, waiting for pain to come. but after a beat there is nothing. the slap never comes and instead the noise hits something harder, taller. the princess opens her eyes to a scene she didn't expect. stefan is standing in front of her with his head turned to the right. he'd . . . taken the slap from the man. the stranger in question looks just as shocked as she feels. one foot behind the other he stumbles backwards, looking apologetic. but stefan doesn't move. mia can't see his face but by the look on the strangers he must have a fierce gaze.

being attacked by civilians isn't exactly uncommon for her. despite being overall beloved by her country it doesn't stop those from placing blame on her for things out of her control. people don't understand how little power she really has over issues. she is but a princess, not the queen yet. whatever her father says she must abide by regardless of how many hours she spent arguing with him. the man had taken it upon himself to take his anger out on her and mia was more than ready to accept it. without her guards around there wasn't much she could do. but stefan . . .

❛ s - stefan !! are you okay ? ❜ fingers curl into the fabric of his shirt before giving a gentle tug. if he was harmed protecting her she would certainly be upset.

𝙁𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙓 𝙄𝙎 𝙉𝙊 𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙊. he isn't one to stick his neck out for someone he doesn't know. but more than anything felix hates bullies. the voices are loud, obnoxious and most of all hateful. turning the corner he spots them, a group of men . . . no ' boys ' taunting someone. he overhears the mention of money and felix scoffs. he'd never been one for material items but even more so now than ever did he despise people like this. raising a hand he twitches his finger, one of the men flying hard into the brick wall of the alleyway. it catches the attention of the other bullies and they turn, confusion in their eyes. but he does the motion again and the men also go flying back first into the wall. they all sink to the dirty ground and felix cannot help his smile.

with that the men seem to come to terms with their situation and scramble to their feet, flying past him and out of the alley. soon he and the stranger are alone. felix turns to them, maintaining his smile. ❛ are you okay ? ❜

' you should go out and make friends! ' she says as if it's just that easy. oliver shifts in his seat at the bar, gaze lowering to his whiskey. ❛ um, so . . . you come here . . . often ? ❜ smooth.

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙌𝙐𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘾𝘼𝙏𝘾𝙃𝙀𝙎 𝙉𝘼𝙍𝙐𝙏𝙊 𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙍𝙀𝙇𝙔 𝙊𝙁𝙁 𝙂𝙐𝘼𝙍𝘿. crystal eyes snap upward to sasuke who isn't looking at him but at the ground, cheeks clearly red. it had only been a few days since they'd confessed to one another and things were still a bit . . . awkward. still, naruto had done his best to not ' make things weird '. whatever that means. the last thing he expected was for sasuke to ask to hold hands. his heart flutters, teeth digging into his bottom lip as he considers it but only for a second. without anymore hesitation he reaches out, taking his hand. fingers lock with sasuke's and the uzumaki has never been happier.

❛ why didn't ya say so sooner ? ❜ no way was he going to let this go. of course he has to tease sasuke to no end about it. but still naruto gives sasuke's hand a reassuring squeeze. everyone will see it, he knows but naruto can't find himself caring. actually, he hopes everyone sees.

Mercedes  paused  at  Hyacinth’s  words,  her  breath  misting  in  the  chill  morning  air  as  she  glanced  down  at  the  frost-laced  grass  beneath  her  boots.  The  tower's  perpetual  shadow  seemed  colder  than  the  rest  of  the  world,  a  place  untouched  by  the  warmth  of  the  sun  or  the  passage  of  seasons.  Yet  here  she  was,  standing  on  the  threshold  of  a  structure  that  looked  like  ruin  on  the  outside  but  held  a  vibrant,  almost  otherworldly  warmth  within.  She  tugged  her  cloak  tighter,  meeting  his  gaze.  “I  suppose  that  means  winter  is  truly  here,”  she  said  softly,  her  voice  carrying  a  touch  of  melancholy.  “Though  I  imagine  it’s  always  a  little  colder  here,  isn’t  it?  Your  world  doesn’t  let  much  light  in.”

Her  eyes  lingered  on  him,  taking  in  his  sharp  features  and  the  way  his  eyes  seemed  to  hold  an  unspoken  weariness.  The  curse  that  bound  him  to  the  tower  was  both  a  prison  and  a  sanctuary,  trapping  him  in  a  place  that  had  become  part  of  him.  “Hyacinth,”  she  continued,  her  voice  gentle,  “you’ve  lived  here  so  long.  I  wish…  I  wish  there  was  a  way  to  bring  more  life  to  this  place.  To  you.”  She  stopped,  unsure  if  her  words  brought  comfort  or  only  deepened  the  chasm  of  solitude  between  them.  But  still,  she  stayed,  determined  not  to  let  the  frost—or  the  curse—define  the  moment.

[ storm ] caught in the midst of a torrential downpour, sender can't help but close the distance and kiss receiver in the rain / also oliver and joey mayhap

the rain. it was like a curtain - making it IMPOSSIBLE to see anything. it didn't matter that he had better sight than many others thanks to his bionic orb. he was soaked. everything was wet ; his clothes, shoes, hair and skin. though, the misery didn't stop their. it was also winter. the water that poured from the grey sky was cold. ice cold. and the wind was howling. a shiver ran along his spin as fear began to spread through his mind like poison. he was afraid that some of his mechanical parts might stop working soon if they didn't find shelter soon. anything would do really. as long as they got away from this rain. god he HATED rain so much. why couldn't it snow? it was prettier (and didn't soak clothes immediately). the cyborg mutant wouldn't be surprised if both of them got sick after this.

those MISMATCHED eyes could barely see oliver when he took a step closer, shortening the distance between them. time seemed to stop and he no longer felt the rain or the cold that gnawed at his bones when their lips suddenly met. colliding. joey placed one hand on the cheek, almost touching the ear and the other one on his back, pulling him closer. his heart JOLTED and everything suddenly felt electric. dear lord he didn't want this to stop. ever. he felt as if he could stan in this storm forever. as long as he had oliver by his side.
