We made it to Maine!
Christmas was crazy, but we tried getting to Maine as quickly as we could with two babies so Kadden could see his family and they could meet the littles! When we got to Maine we immediately came to Kaddens moms, Laura’s house. But Paigie wasn’t so sure about the change....
Kadden’s mom walked into the livingroom and instantly begans to tear up. “You’re so beautiful!” She said grabbing my face and grabbing me into a tight embrace. “I can’t believe you’re here... Standing here. God, give me another hug” she said, re-wrapping me into a hug for a moment. “And you must be Ms. Paige, you're precious!” she said kneeling down to Paige. Paige runs behind my leg, peaking around my legs to look at Kaddens mother. I looked down at her. “Baby it’s okay.” Kaddens mom tries to grab her hand but she pulls away scared so I knelt down near Paige and turn her so shes facing me. “Look at mommy baby. This is your grandma, Laura.” Paige looked at me confused. “You have more than one grandma baby. This is daddy’s momma. Shes very nice and so excited to meet you. She’s been waiting to meet you and she would really like a hug. Do you think you can give her a big girl hug?” I explained to Paige very mellow toned. Paige turns her head to look at Laura. “You can call me nanna Paige.” she whispered to Paige. Paige let out a loud giggle and slowly walked over to Laura with her arms open and Laura picked her up in a soft hug, lifting her.
