The demon Koorogi sits in a tree at the edge of its territory when it sees the demon girl Paimon. It snarls, but since she isn't quite on its turf, it doesn't rush in to attack or anything. It just stays in the tree and watches her. "Hey be careful! you're right on the border of my turf." it calls out. @koorogi-final-selection-oni-a
Paimon looked at the ground then up at the demon "Your turf? What are you talking about?" Her eyes scrunched up in confusion
🌟 "Paimon’s Weekly Update: Liyue, Loot, and LOTS of Running!" 🌟
Hey again, Travelers! This week, Paimon and the Traveler finally made it back to the stunning stone forests and golden rooftops of Liyue! You’d think we were here for a calm stroll and some dumplings—but noooope! Turns out Liyue had other plans.
Treasure Hoarders & Trouble First thing we ran into? Monsters. Second thing? Even more monsters. Hilichurls, Geovishaps, and way too many Treasure Hoarders who clearly never learn. Paimon lost count of how many times we had to dodge explosions while the Traveler just kept charging in headfirst! (Seriously—why does everything in Liyue want to fight us?)
Familiar Faces! We got to visit a few of our favorite people!
Hu Tao popped up (literally out of a lantern), offered us coupons for “buy one funeral, get one free.” Paimon is concerned.
Zhongli invited us for tea. It turned into a three-hour lesson about ancient rock formations and dragon contracts. Paimon definitely pretended to understand all of it.
Xiao showed up, helped us beat down a Ruin Grader, and vanished before Paimon could even offer him a snack. Rude but cool.
Snack Stop Report! Liyue cuisine is still legendary. Paimon ate her weight in crystal shrimp and spicy tofu, and the Traveler might have tried to stop me. Too slow. The dumplings are mine.
That’s a Wrap! Liyue gave us monsters, friends, and a LOT of cardio. We’re heading off to rest (and by “rest,” I mean eat more). Stay tuned for where we end up next—and don’t forget to send in your questions!

Oh? Two can play this game! Alastor retaliates with a nip to the neck of his own. He sure showed him! Not.... that he was betraying himself by a waggle of the tail, or his whirring laughter of static. The two were having quite the pleasent evening tonight.
"You're such a tease, darling," he chuckled. "If you wanted me to stop talking, you should have said so."
Lowers his head on top of his, resting just between his antlers. The king found himself increasingly comfortable with the idea of visiting his lover more often in person. Albeit, using a different form each time as to not draw suspicion about his identity. The form for this evening was a sphere like head with dark flames that encompassed the whole body. There was the light chuckle emitting from him that echoed through the radio station, as he stroked the top of his hand with his own. — Paimon to Alastor
It took some getting used to, these different shapeshifting forms that the Goetia visited in. They were very well done too, even fooling Alastor a few good times, Paimon teasing him for at least the next few visits.
The Radio Demon found himself craving the attention, looking forward to the visits, genuinely enjoying the other's company. The ancient being as interesting as he was powerful, much less obnoxious than the true ruler of Hell, and Alastor found himself charmed with his personality and wit.
He only wished he could be in his truer form, although he did understand that it was a necessity if they were to remain in anonymity. Even so, the attachment was growing, and as much as Alastor tried to resist in his heart, he felt himself opening up a little more each moment they spent together.
Just this recently, the Radio Demon allowed him into his personal space, feeling a warmth when the disguised Paimon rested his head between those antlers, the way he stroked his hand. It was simple touches like this that Alastor appreciated the most, the quiet evening with only the soft crackling tune of the record player. A relaxing ambiance.
He let the silence do the talking, wanting to soak it all in, as these moments could be as fleeting as a sunrise.

It was moments like this one, where he forgets that Paimon pretty much had avian features, let alone with physical attributes of that of the raptor family. Luckily for Alastor, that nip wasn't near what it could have been. Just enough of a knick to feel it.
He rubs at his nose and returns the favor by taking his hand, giving it his own little nibble, grinning up at him mischievously. "Two can play that game, darling."
Oh he knows what that look means from his feathery king.
"A natural state? Very nice, we need more beings to resort to how we were created." He is impressed and he is definitely looking at everything. -- Paimon (even though they're not together yet it's still funny)
He yanks the blanket over himself fairly quickly, embarrassed at how obvious a look up and down he was getting. Those bird headbobs didn't help it be very subtle.
"For God's sake," his static made that sound more dramatic then intended. "You don't have to look so obvious when you say things like that, you know!"
But was he flattered by the Goetia's expression? Maybe.
