Prompto's joking disappointed whine was definitely interrupted by Gladio's words, sputtering into another sound entirely. "Okay, well, that's good to know. For future reference." He added with another sunny smile, mostly watching Noctis' reaction.

Then he was really watching Noct's reaction when that kiss started, absentmindedly agreeing, "Yeah, you're all pretty distracting, like... always." Just like then and there, watching his fiance relax into the kiss.

He considered not directing, actually. Not like Gladio needed it or anything, but if something could go from good to great, was it not his duty to make sure that happened? Grinning at his own thoughts, Prompto kept his voice just soft enough for both of them to hear. "So, Noct's got this little spot. Somewhere between the back of his neck and behind his ear. Sometimes if you rub it real softly while you're kissing, it enhances the experience." Not like it was super secret, right? Noctis seemed to like it ad all that.

"Will you stop moving?" Prompto huffed out a breath as he dropped the camera from in front of his face, the glare that he was shooting his friends direction on full display. The weather had finally stopped rising about Ifrit's Asscrack, and he wanted to take advantage of it. When Noctis offered to let him photograph the gardens, the blonde knew that he wouldn't be able to turn it down. The gardens were absoslutely beautiful and he knew the photos would turn out. As long as Noctis stopped moving when he was in the frame. "You're ruining the shot, you butthole. Now will you tilt your head back again?"

In all honesty, these outbursts should no longer surprise him, considering how he's been close by the prince's side for nearly all his life. Even so, he raises one brow, which is the only indicator that he's taken slightly aback.

"I meant no offense, Noct, I was merely pointing out my concerns"

He pulls out a small notebook and starts scribbling down a list of necessary items to prepare in case the blush in his cheeks was an indicator for a brewing fever. A frown of concentration as he does.

"Have you felt any sort of dizziness or lack of taste? Perhaps a sore throat?"

It was a nice, sunny afternoon, and that would have been something Prompto appreciated usually. Except he'd been sitting there for hours while Noctis' fished. He hated to interrupt his best bud's fun time, but man, he was getting bored.

His phone had died half an hour ago.

"Dude, c'mon," he said, flopping back on the grass and frowning out at the lake. "Are you sure there's even anything in there?"

He was pretty sure they were just stalling. Which was fine by him, he was pretty sure none of them wanted to think about what would happen after they got to Altissia. But still. Couldn't he find a more interesting way to kill time?
