--bring your son to work day [closed w/ ura]
Komaeda had never worked a day in his life. He never needed to. Even after the death of his parents, he'd always been financially secured by his inheritance and his lottery winnings from a few years back. He wasn't a particularly frivolous spender either, and really only purchased necessities for himself. Needless to say he was intrigued by the opportunity to actually observe a work environment. He still had not completely adjusted to a lifestyle where both parents had to work to provide for a family, and he was not opposed to seeking employment himself, if necessary. However considering his uncanny and unfortunate luck, he had some apprehensions...
Even so, it couldn't hurt to test the waters before jumping in right? This was his mentality as he stood at the door to the local tea shop where his father Ura worked. He had yet to formally meet his other parent, and shadowing him in his workplace seemed like a perfect way to kill two birds with one stone... somewhat of a learning experience as well as a father-son bonding opportunity.
It wasn't until he walked through the door that he realized a rather crucial detail- seeing as how they had not yet meet face-to-face... Komaeda had no idea what Ura looked like..
The shop was swarming with young folk... quite frankly it was difficult to tell children from adults... any one of these people could be the man he sought. Going from person to person asking if they were his father seemed incredibly tedious, not to mention embarrassing. He'd probably get shooed away more often than get an answer, or get kicked out for annoying customers. He saw but one solution, and pained him as it did, there really were no other logical options.
Sighing, he made his way through the shop until he came to the cash wrap counter. He proceeded to stand on top of it, and looked out over the clusters of people. How fortunate that no one had tried to stop him!
"In fact, it seems I'm being completely ignored... I wonder why that is..." He cleared his throat and inhaled, projecting his raspy voice as best he could.
"Excuse me...!" Any illusion of invisibility he'd had seconds earlier was certainly gone now, "Ah- Which one of you is my father? Which one of you is Ura?"
That should do the trick!
