I'm heading here next month - Hong Kong!!! - and I'm going to be doing paintings in the style of #paint20 Thing is, when I did #paint20 it was the middle of a Melbourne winter, Hong Kong right now is 30.C and humidity 75% + 😂😂😅😅😂😅 I'll be there from the 22nd of September... Say hello I'f you are about and get me some water and offer to carry my 30 kilograms of gear ( the airline is going to have a field day with my excess) (at Hong Kong)
I am lucky I got great photos of all the paintings in #paint20 I really love being able to zoom in and see the texture, swipe left to see some delicious closeups - yum 😍😍😍. Also really happy the project wasn't a week later because of the weather they had 😂😂😂 (at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)
Day16/20 #paint20 watch that shadow come like a guillotine down the building and over me!!!OK I am buggered - I even wrote on this vid day 17 (which is today) - however everytime I step behind that Easle the energy comes back, the lovely people come past and say hello and ask questions and I paint away till it's done. And it's a fantastic experience! You can hear how tired I am at the end putting it on the wall, but it's worth every second. the amazing people have met throughout this journey so far I've made it all worthwhile! This one is called 'i bet that's going to be in there tomorrow (points at NGV)' kids are magic! The water in the background was so relaxing too! PS I didn't forget the trees this time 🤣🤣🤣 I am so lucky to be supported by the City of Melbourne Arts Grant! (at National Gallery of Victoria)

Day 15/20 #paint20 "You forgot the trees" Yesterday was pretty funny, it took someone coming along and pointing out that I had become an arborist and cleared the trees... Day 9/20 #paint20 "we'll take a million dollars and drop it from a helicopter" . Today the weather is going to be raining like hell apparently! So wish me luck, also I am going to get a reading light so my canvas doesn't go so dark like in the time-lapse. Today I could barely see it let alone the third camera... I meet so many nice people each day - today though most of them stood to the side and watched, so you can just see them pop in stealthily everyone and then 🤣🤔😊.
