I weirdly saved a shrew from Hattie. It was in shock, and I held it (with gloves) enclosed in my hands until it could freely move again. It was hyperventilating when I first picked it up, I could feel its heartbeat, but it calmed down as I held it. I put it in a butter container to contemplate what to do, I decided since its guts aren't hanging out, and it's mobile to release it somewhere it could hide. I made sure it was successfully hidden before I left it, wish them the best of luck

Also made the cat come inside, but he's gonna be asking anyone who will listen to let him outside soon. Least I won't rn? Hehe. I wanted to keep the shrew until it was recovered, I wouldn't mind catching insects for them everyday and I have a tank fit for something much bigger than her she "needed", yet I worry for diseases and her death happening in my care. I would love to have a mouse or two someday, shrews are small and cute like them. If I kept the shrew I would have made an awesome two story enclosure, something like what I've been thinking for mice but researched and cultured for shrews. Alike to mice, I would have to use materials found outside to fully construct their tank and that,, doesn't seem correct or sanitary but I suppose it wouldn't have mattered for a wild critter I would have kept for a month at most

I did two shitty braids against my scalp to the base of my neck

I fell asleep on accident/early last night, I forgot to respond to Reveriee and have yet to respond to Bird. Ugh, I threw up like ten minutes ago, I literally couldn't fight that, so much drool. I regret falling asleep, I will fall back asleep soon, but that threw off my entire schedule. My grandma was watching Grey's Anatomy well past 1:45 in the morning.
