So I have a history of getting fixated on things. Sometimes its an entirely new craft (how I ended up doing leather craft) and sometimes its just a project. I saw this little treasure chest and got it into my head I wanted to paint my friends' pets on it.

A few months later when I went to their wedding I was overjoyed to see my treasure chest being used as their ring box in the ceremony. Its still one of my favourite things I've ever made because of this! I've always felt like stuff you make has a place to go, even if you don't know it yet yourself.

edit: I realised I never put the pets names here!! First is the piggies Polly and April with Bunny Archie on pedestals in a galaxy. Then piggies Black Forest Gauteaux (BG) and Marmalade with bunny Sadie floating on their islands in the sky. Then black lab Kiwi and the main man, his royal highness Teddy the hamster.

I finally finished ThunderJunky’s zombie/desert/royal/halloween crosspaint!

Ugh I’m insane, I needed the royal paint for the tail jewelry, the zombie paint for the shirt, the desert paint for the misc. jewelry, and finally- the halloween paint for the color!

A year and a half is the time I spent in Munich and London, dividing my time travelling throughout Europe, visiting famous old museums and study renaissance and Flemish. We will discuss together the design and background we are about to use to make the portrait of your pet more personal and close to you.
