Hobbit update #1

So I started to paint some goblins up, following the tutorial I found.

I primed the goblins in white before adding Carroburg crimson shade. After that layer had dried I dry brushed Eldar flesh and Pallid wych flesh to give some degree of highlighting and shading. The final step was to base the weapons, straps, cloth, mouth and eyes with Rhinox hide. 

I don't have the paints for the next steps so they will be bought and used for the next update :)

The lizardmen return with a new race. Went for a frost/ice theme for this unit of skinks and I think it came out quite nicely. The reason behind this choice was I am at my friend's house and he is painting Space Wolves so these were the only paints at hand. Hopefully you enjoy. Comments and criticism greatly appreciated. The VeganWargamer returns to the painting scene. Seems a long time since I have picked up a paintbrush and given some life to my fantasy minions but I am glad I am back. My station and work place is set up and paint has been set free on a Goblin halloween trick or tricker hut. Also I have in my possession, a stegadon given to my by the beautiful Eleanor for my recent birthday so I shall be painting her up in the coming weeks. Any name ideas for the beaut? I did it! My Skaven army are now fully based PLUS 3 movement trays for my units. Really proud of my completion today, didn't think i would pull it off but i stuck in and based everyone and fixed a few things up. Thinking of having a fluff evening tomorrow, gonna start writing up some lore and back story for my lizardmen and Skaven, depending on how far i get. So yeah! Super proud of my first fully finished army! -Your Favourite Vegan Wargamer :D

Motivation time

It is time to be productive for once.

Going to see where i left my Skavens at and revive them. Got some casualties that i will be fixing and seeing what i have on sprues.

Return of the Ratmen is upon us.
