the gabble family
Brotherhood was everything to the Gabbles. In some ways, it was all they had at one point in their lives - the brotherhood that the sisters had given them. They were from all over, with different backgrounds and interests, and now as adults, different paths. But they would always be brothers, and they would always have each other's backs. It was sacred, at the core of their identities.
Although their family was hardly the most traditional, they took their own unique traditions quite seriously. It was nice that way – they made their own family, which meant they could make their own traditions to be whatever suited them, instead of just following someone else’s habits.
The idea of a Gabble family tattoo had been tossed around many, many times over the past decade or so, but for whatever reasons, it had never ended up happening. But now, Grey was officially a Gabble. He was just one of a long line of foster kids that ended up sticking around permanently, but it had been a while since the last one, and it was as good a reason as any to celebrate it with a tattoo session.
