tór gabble and nathaniel hawkins
With one last, furtive look around Tór went around the back of the book store to cut him off. After that, it was easy: two quick, long-mastered moves and the guy's chest was pinned to the brick wall with Tór's forearm. ...Except, whoever's chest his elbow was now digging into, it wasn't the weaselly investor he'd been tailing; he was now hurriedly running in the opposite direction. "Fuck." Now, this certainly wasn’t the first time Nate had found himself thrown up against a wall. Normally, he had at least some idea why, though. In this case, he was reasonably certain that he hadn’t offended anyone to the point of assault. Well, recently. He definitely didn’t recall offending this particular rather violently-inclined individual.“...if that was some sort of an invitation, I’m afraid I’ll have to respectfully decline.” He wasn’t about to get in a shoving match, even if ‘invitation’ was a generous way to refer to what was at best a one-word command (or potentially an unrelated expletive).
