do you guys know of any jack x bitty fic that focuses on the events of halloween? or that happen during halloween 14?

So we looked thoroughly and I am sorry to say that no fic entirely focusing on Halloween 2014 has been posted. But.

We did find this one fic, which has a big part happening during the event.

Comment: Okay so basically, everyone in this fic is an idiot except maybe Shitty. It’s pretty great, and you’ll want to take Bitty in your arms and never let him go because he’s your precious little cupcake son and you’ll have this urge to protect him, you know? Is this comment somehow unprofessional and totally biased? Maybe. 

Anyways, I recommend this fic.

Comment: Such an interesting read! I loved the idea of something "magical" happening in the NHL, and seeing another path to Eric's life was heartbreaking, but brilliant! And Jack Zimmermann made me cry. Again. It was great, go read!

Commentary: More Jack-is-a-big-ball-of-anxiety-related-angst, but with a happy sweet ending. It has asexual!Jack, by the way. I love fics with Shitty explaining people stuff about romantic and sexual orientation, it’s something he would totally do :)

Summary: Bittle scores against Yale and Jack acts like a son of a bitch. They’re not friends.

Commentary: Jack is a big ball of anxiety and I just want to hug him forever. This fic has some really interesting parts and sentences on how Jack feels about stuff, which sum up pretty well my own experience with anxiety, so reading it was interesting for me. It was angsty but with a cute happy ending, which is always nice. Oh, I don’t fully share the author’s view of Jack’s relationship with his parents, but most of it made sense from Jack’s POV I think (I’m not sure I’m expressing myself clearly, just read it and judge for yourselves).

Commentary: If Bitty is already the cutest person ever, now imagine him working at a coffee shop. This is just really sweet, the way good coffee shop AUs are. A nice read if your sad (for instance, if you’re suffering because some douchebag I won’t mention has been being horrible to your favourite character). It also has a tiny mention of R/H.

Commentary: we have already established that Jack baking/cooking is my favourite thing in this world, haven’t we? So of course I’d love this fic (it also made me hungry, even if I had just had breakfast). Besides, the mental image of Jack wearing an apron while shirtless is something we all need in our lives, including Bitty. Especially Bitty.

Commentary: Yes, I’m reccing all the fluff, because that’s all I read lately (it’s my coping mechanism to deal with Parse, sssshh). This fic is nice and cute, it has a tiny bit of pining-induced-angst, but it’s not focused on that, so don’t worry. It also contains one of my favourite tropes, which is Jack baking (or trying to bake) for Bitty (I won’t get tired of saying it: Jack baking gives me life).
