Revised first 5 chapters of Burnt- a piece exploring Mad Ben’s world post Ben Prime and Ben 23′s departure.

I mean...not really. I don’t think Ben “hates” Pakmar, either, so I don’t see why I should. Idk if you’re familiar with the first Ben 10: Omniverse video game, but during one of the cutscenes Ben literally says he “really feels bad” for Pakmar, actually. 

I think what I hate more is that the writers thought it would be funny to throw Ben under the bus like that, and make him look like the menace that Harangue makes him out to be, despite not initially meaning to cause harm. 

I’d attribute it to them trying to add realistic consequences or something to the Sci-Fi world that Ben lives in. Which, in itself isn’t a bad point to try to make, but having him just be blamed for all of it in Pakmar’s case, and Mr. Baumann’s case, is just a little unfair when we know he wouldn’t be fighting if alien criminals weren’t initially being reckless first. 

I guess it’s just another con to living the life of superhero.
