Kind of awesome since I dig both of these bands and they're doing a split together. Palace of Worms split with Mastery came out incredible. It has an old school fast, angry raw sound with guitar work that keeps any listener intrigued (which we all know is a major challenge for black metal guitarists). Most interesting of all, Palace of Worms is only consists of one guy, Balan from California who is a member of several other bands. Botanist is as eclectic and extraordinary as it gets when it comes to pushing the envelope in the black metal realm. Some people can't even consider them black metal, considering there aren't any electric guitars incorporated into their music. If you like East Asian styled music, Botanist would most certainly pique your interest. They sound nothing like each other, and since there will only be 200 copies sold, owning one will make me super kvlt.
