✨ initial thoughts / opinions
i’ve said it already but pale is my favorite character of the bloodlines arc and i stand BY this. they are very capable and talented but every once in a while i think you get a glimpse of the kind of just, extremely tough pressure they’re under- they’ve had to stand in for morningsky for a while now, and while that’s not really anyone’s fault (except seed. no seed rights) it’s clearly a challenge. besides that, they tend to have some fascinating interactions with just about everyone they talk to. diamond and pale specifically seemed like a really neat dynamic! their genuine curiosity and respect for the sentinels is interesting to see. i’m excited to see them take some more initiative while skies searches for a new home, but like, also practice some self care buddy
🍁 favorite rp / moment
literally any time they’re in proximity to aster, probably, but on a serious note: light’s punishment!! that was wild!! it’s was a great show of dynamics, and pale’s sort of... all business but definitely still deeply caring demeanor. because light DID go astray, and indirectly harmed the tribes because of it, but in the end. they still know her well. the quote that always gets me is this: “your tribe may forgive you, but will you, light? truly?” i’m suing for emotional damages.
