Divided Skies is delighted to announce that we are officially opening for our seventh wave of applications!

"Nineteen moons ago, tensions reached a peak in the mountain StormClan, causing a schism to break the bustling Clan in two, while enemies and allies alike bore witness. Those defectors settled in the moors with the name of DawnClan, seeking peace with the forest BriarClan and marshland MistClan. Time and time again since, tragedy has struck in all four Clans of the territory: disease, disaster, and death abound. With new leaders in power, and new threats rising faster by the day, a time of great change has come. The morning has only just begun."

We are an 18+ semi-literate Warriors roleplay hosted on Discord. As such, you must have a Discord account and be 18 years or older to apply. We ask that you only send in one submission to the form. This opening will run from August 1st to August 15th, after which invitations will be sent out to all successful applicants.

This opening will be focusing on original character pitches, however, if you prefer finding a character with pre-established ties, please feel free to browse our adoptables document for all available characters and open connections!

Please make sure to check out our lore before applying! All of our documents can be found in our Table of Contents; we heavily suggest consulting our Clan Ledger first, to get an idea of the main factions. If you have any questions, send us an ask, and we'll back to you as soon as possible!

Will your paws lead you to community, or to superstition? Are you led by honor, or by hope? Does your heart lie beyond the Clans, no rules beyond your own? Or will you be in the skies themselves, maybe shrouded in the dark?

here are my designs for them:

i see squilf w spiky fur due to her being more energetic than leaf'pool. she has a lil sunrise on her head bc i love the idea of her rising like a sun from the dark time of being abused by the men in her life. also freckles

I also had two designs for her tail but ultimately went w the gradient one

(notice the saturation change between the exported png and the screenshot. procreate is so weird.)

leaf'pool is more rounded and earthy. i had so much difficulty w herdesign cuz i could not for the life of me figure out how to combine leaves and stripes. like she has to have stripes because it's canon, but they have to be soft and curved instead of sharp and there also has to be something that related to her namesake so leaves ig???

ALSO when I was searching for inspo for her design I was so confused like "why is everyone drawing her with amber eyes" because I was CONVINCED that she had sage eyes. imagine my horror when I go onto the wiki and she fr has amber eyes????? literally WHAT is this timeline

CRYSTAL COUNTRYSIDE

A 16+ Warrior Cats art/roleplay group.

CRYSTAL COUNTRYSIDE is a 16+ art and roleplay group hosted on Discord. While the cats believe in the same ancestors as the books (StarClan), CC features original clans called LeafClan and SoaringClan as well as additional lore/changes to create a more unique universe. Knowledge of the books is not needed in order to enjoy the group!

Our setting is the Glade, a beautiful landscape featuring lush forests, windy moors and a huge peak named Crystal Mountain. The clans' ancestors (as well as some of the strays littered about) originally come from the city a long distance away, having had fled from an extermination effort by the local humans (known as Catchers). In the glade, the two clans border one another and must fight over land and resources for the benefit of their own well-being and their clanmates'.

WHO WILL YOU JOIN?

🌿 LeafClan is a forest-dwelling clan that focuses far more on independence and reverence for the living and their surroundings.

✧ Proud of their strong-will and fortitude, LeafClan never back down from what looks like a difficult path ahead. Frustrated with Stonestar's apparent inexperience, Fogstar turns her back on the other clan. What her own clanmates think about this is mixed, with some grumblings about her heartlessness.

🦅 SoaringClan is a mountain-dwelling clan that heavily leans into their faith and trust in StarClan.

✧ A clan known for their devotion to their ancestors that is currently struggling with an onslaught of negative events. Formerly led by a tyrant leader, SoaringClan is struggling to gather up the pieces of their clan under the guidance of an overwhelmed Stonestar.

🐾 Strays are cats that were either exiled from their respective clans, those who decided not to join, or strangers who got to the party a bit late.

✧ Living varying lifestyles, Strays are oftentimes left to a peaceful lifestyle while remaining cautious of their clan-cat counterparts. However, events are beginning to unfold that seem to threaten this peace. And, hey… Some of the cats out here look awfully familiar, don't they?

✧ We have our own group currency, moss, which you earn by submitting art, writing, collabs & roleplays! There are many items to choose from our shop to spice up your characters. ✧ Other bots we have include Applepaw, Tupperbot, and more!
