I’ve gotten this as an anon ask a lot and wanted to add it to my FAQ - but my answer got really long. So I made it a post instead!
For concealer and correcting I use the products in the picture below. They are all really dark on me, which is okay because I mix my concealer of the day with a Kryolan potted concealer in White to achieve the correct shade!
Kryolan Ultra Fluid Foundation in TV White is the only foundation i’ll use. It’s literally a white shade with some pink tones in it. But it can be applied very sheerly and never oxidizes on me! This is the only product I can use to get my face to be the same color as my wrists/neck/shoulders, it’s a beautiful thing.

And I set that with NYC translucent powder because it’s cheap.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, the foundation dries really quickly and is hard to blend. It doesn’t have the best coverage (the fast drying nature makes it hard to achieve even coverage) and can cake up over dry patches. So if you can find something that matches you with a better formula, go for that!
Urban Decay, Nars, Make up Forever and Illamasqua all have light shades. The latter two also sell white mixing shades. Misha Perfect cover BB in no.13 is great. For drugstore options, Maybelline Fit Me in 110 and L’oreal True Match have the lightest shades.
Unfortunately none of the brands listed above match me - they are all too dark or oxidize/dry orange on me. But i’m kind of a weird case. Most people I know who are also pale can purchase and use foundations in the lightest shades from the previously mentioned brands so give those a try if you can!
What products do you use for foundation? I'm very fair skinned and everything I've tried is to dark
I feel your pain. I’ve answered makeup questions before but I’ll go a little more in depth!
The only foundation I have ever found that isn’t too dark for me is Kryolans TV white which is basically a pink tinted white that happens to match my skin tone pretty well.
As for light foundations in general, Maybelline “fit me” foundation is quite light, as is Loreal True Match 01 (which runs yellow). Lancomes Ivoire 1C is very light but tends to turn orange-y. Misha M perfect cover BB is pretty light too. They are all to dark for me but eh…
If those don’t work prepare to add white base to your foundation. I usually use kryolans potted foundations applied with a sponge as a base, then I add a foundation on top and it looks much lighter. But Mac, Face Atelier, and Illamasqua all produce white products that you can mix foundations with!
Setting foundations with translucent powder can make them look lighter too~
