downtown with Lula
Today after church, I went and met my lovely friend Lula at her work/my old work. I worked there for a year n' a half. It was a great year, because I was constantly working with friends, and we always made it super fun! While I was down there, we went to the local coffee shop, Paleremo. We got amazing Chai Tea Lattes.
They were so good! It was the first time I had ever had one. Lula is always raving about them! She said she gets one like everyday she is working. She said they are 100x better than Coffee Bean and 1000x better than Starbucks... if you can't tell... were Coffee Bean fans, more than we are Starbucks. But I must say, Starbucks has a great China Green Tips Tea... with half steamed soy.
While I was ordering, I saw these "cozy's" sitting near the register! They are so cute! They are totally handmade by a women who works at Paleremo. They have so many fun and cute colors! If any of you live in Ventura, go get one! They arn't cheap, they're $6.75, but they are so worth it. As you all know, I love anything that makes me happy, and I find things so worth it, if they're going to put a smile one my face whenever I see them! This is definitely one of those things!
My coffee looks like its wearing a sweater! How stylish is that? Love it!
Here we are downtown. My boyfriend happened to be at the same coffee shop with his friend Cory, working on their new business! I had to have him sneak a picture in ☺ I want to give all of you a window into my life. I like to make this blog super personal! It makes it more fun. And we all like fun, don't we?!
