Born into a well respected family and nephew of the former deputy, Palekit was always expected to be a great warrior one day. His parents were very disappointed when he became friends with former kittypet Rosepaw and more or less disowned him. His buddies, Hailpaw and Duskpaw connvinced him to abandon his new friend but the two made up eventually and became mates.
