This is a thank you to Pokémon for being my greatest inspiration as an artist. I redrew this picture I had made over 10 years ago, when I was getting used to making digital art. Pokémon has done so much for me growing up, giving me some of my happiest memories and inspiring me to follow my dreams. So thank you, Pokémon, for 30 years of fun, imagination, and adventures!

My entry for the Pokémon card illustration contest didn’t win, but it was fun to make. I based it on paintings of animals made in the Middle Ages.
