Better Together Palette - *Rant*
I’ve been seeing a lot of people say that it’s a “scandal” and really odd for a more “gothic” dark type makeup company like Kat Von D to pair with a more “girly” pink type makeup company like Too Faced - I hear people say “oh it’s just so they can market to a wider spectrum of customers” and it’s just to “make money”. Well NO SHIT people. From a marketing standpoint it’s a great idea. If you are someone who is really into Too Faced products and Kat Von D is a bit out of your comfort zone (like reds and blacks), why the hell wouldn’t it be a good idea for them to pair and people to experiment? Or for people who generally do bold dramatic KVD looks to branch over to a softer “natural” look? I think it’s genius. Don’t forget the people (like me) who already love BOTH companies and enjoy being able to achieve vastly different looks from the same palette. DUH!!! And they’re doing it just to make money? They already make products to make money (except when Kat occasionally donates proceeds.) That’s the point of a business at all!!!
