Hello it’s dragon Fun Facts time, featuring Paluu
*He is a Trunker Herder, and because of this he is mostly a hermit, only stopping in to the clan from time to time. Trunkers require both fresh grass and various fruits and berries, so Paluu will lead them to open fields and then back through the lush rainforests to get their feed. He loves being alone, and will avoid taking paths travelled by other dragons, losing himself in his thoughts as he wanders.
*Of course he loves his animals and treats them with the utmost care. He will fight any predator that tries to harm his Trunkers. However, Paluu is not overly sentimental: he is practical and pragmatic, and at the end of the day he isn’t upset when he sells off animals for the market: he’s given them the best life possible, after all (Trunkers are sold for their meat, and their tough hides make strong leather. They’re tameable and can be used as beasts of burden, too (see flightdescending’s awesome trunker caravans!<3) They’re also popular in the pet trade, though Paluu isn’t so keen on this side of things).
*Since he spends so much time on his own, Paluu can come across as gruff when meeting other dragons and it takes him ages to warm up to new people. He isn’t very talkative and would prefer to sit in silence and sip tea with a companion rather than chatter away inanely. He is, however, very softhearted and will help any dragon in need, no questions asked.
*He very much detests class-systems (whether royalty, celebrities, etc) and dislikes dragons that think they are better than others. It’s for this reason that he finds it so hard to live a clan-life- he can’t stand to have anyone judge him, or tell him what to do.
*Paluu is transgender, which he discovered at a young age. He was hatched into the Sunflower Fields clan and raised by Roshan and Gabs, two very kind and protective guardians who immediately accepted him
*In his late teens/young adulthood Paluu decided to leave the clan, and travel. He was gone for some many years, and when he returned you couldn’t recognise him by sight: he was now a Tundra instead of a Guardian. The Tundras of the clan though, recognised him by his scent and embraced him back to their home, where his adoptive parents were thrilled that their son had returned. He hasn’t yet told anyone why exactly he decided to come back, claiming that it’s a story he’s saving ‘for a rainy day’.
*Paluu has an insatiable sweet-tooth. He will pour honey on top of many of his meals, and into his tea
*He has recently discovered a very strange Trunker (? if that is even what he is), which is able to talk though never makes any sense. Paluu has taken to visiting the strange creature often, trying to work out this mystery...
*OOC fun facts: He has a very soft face, based off a reindeer. His horns are also fuzzy, covered in velvet like a deer’s
*I hatched him for my birthday one year, but was hemming and hawing over keeping him or not. In the end I put him on the AH, and someone bought him, so I thought that was that. However several months later I was browsing the AH and stumbled across a very familiar looking dragon....! so of course I bought him back
