The Baby Shower.
Mackenzie Boyd fanfic.
It was the day of Mackenzie and Lucy's baby shower.
"The village is buzzing thanks to you Mack" said Mandy as she ushered him and Lucy in the salon for make up and hairs ready for the TV cameras.
"Oh Mandy" said Bernice "We haven't had this much excitement since Richard Madden came in for his massage"
"Oh yes I missed all that" said Mandy.
"Well Richard insisted that Mackenzie do his massage and he wanted it private so we put a screen around them" Bernice explained. "Goodness knows what they were doing but Mackenzie was blushing when they'd finished"
"You and Richard Madden?" asked Lucy
"Yes we had a bit of a thing going" said Mackenzie.
"But why did he ask for you" Lucy asked.
"Well I worked here at the time" said Mack. "And being a fellow Scot he probably wanted some home comforts"
"Is that what they call it now" said Lucy giving Mackenzie a disapproving look.
"Yes and Mackenzie was a very willing learner" said Bernice with a wry smile on her face. "I taught him everything I know"
"Well you certainly did" said Mandy "When I took over and cleared out all the old stuff I found some furry handcuffs and nipple tassle's in the cupboard"
"Jealousy will get you nowhere" quipped Bernice. "Yes Mack likes his women to take the initiative"
"Oh my God Bernice did you have to bring that up" Mack said looking at Lucy who looked none too pleased.
"Well you little sex pot" said Mandy massaging the shampoo into Macks head. "I missed all the fun"
"Well there will be fun in here soon" said Bernice "Kim Tate has made an appointment for her hair and make up to be done"
"Well that's a first" laughed Mandy.
"Right is everyone ready?" the TV presenter asked as everyone gathered after the make up and hairs were finished. "Everyone in the mini bus we are decamping up to home farm"
"Well that went well" said Kim after the film crew left "The whole village turned up and there are loads of baby gifts"
"Yes and we are delighted" said the lady from the Mother and Baby Charity. "We'll all be on TV tonight and thank you so much Lucy and Mackenzie for donating all your gifts from the baby shower"
"It was our pleasure" said Lucy as Mack and Aaron loaded up her car with the gifts.
"Right Mackenzie Boyd. Nipple tassle's indeed. You've got some explaining to do when we get home"
"Dear God. How do I get out of this one?" Mack asked Kim who had come to say goodbye.
"Well I've heard you're the master of sticky situations" laughed Kim "Good luck with that" she said giving Mack a wave as she went headed indoors.
"If you need to take refuge you know where I am" Kim laughed. "And bring the nipple tassels along"
"How am I going to live this down Aaron" Mack asked as they arrived home "And will you stop laughing"
"Well I'm certainly not laughing" said Lucy. "The whole county could have found out about your little fettish and I'm sorry I can't satisfy your bizarre needs"
"I haven't got any bizarre needs" said Mack getting agitated that he'd upset Lucy.
"Thats just what I was thinking good job the film crew didn't get wind of it" Aaron laughed "How would that have looked on the evening news broadcast"
"Oh go on you two ridicule me" said Mack.
"The thing I want to know is who actually wore the nipple tassels you or Bernice" Aaron asked splitting his sides laughing.
"Well I'll take a guess it was Richard Madden" said Lucy.
"Look can we just forget it" said Mack "We'll be on telly soon and I don't want to miss it"
