MIAG-AO Church at 220. A rooster hunts for worms at the yard of Miag-ao church in Iloilo province on Sept. 23, 2017. The construction of the church began in 1787 and completed in 1797. It served as a fortress against Muslim raiders. In 1898 during the Philippine revolution against Spain, the church was destroyed. It was rebuilt but damaged by fire in 1910 and by earthquake in 1948.
