Is it just me or does Tao look like he's gained weight since leaving EXO? Like in a good way because Panda Tao was rather thin to begin with. But his cheeks here look fuller and his complexion looks a lot better as well.

My theory of the M/V-

The "bride" was his success. In this MV he speaks about how it was right next to him. How he thought he couldn't reach that success but decided to walk after it. The guys in black asking him to wear a "mask" is SM asking him to hide his talents. He shows that he did held it, but he threw it away to reach his dream. Then those women with masquerade are either his fans since they're full of color and give him the "book", which symbolizes how they're the ones who gave him the will to do more and show more of himself.

 "The Road" to success you can say.

 Then, when he writes the book, he realizes his talent and wears those headphones which block out every other noise except his own music which makes him reach further and more forward towards his success despite the people stopping him. When he opens the door, there's sun light. Means that he's free. But then there's a "burning tree" and some other "dead trees" either describing his pain or his hardships. But he still runs through them and is not afraid they'll spread because to reach his "bride" success is more important and he finally gets it. And the ending shows that he thought it was going to be a bad dream but he wakes up in a lavish high rise apartment showing that he is standing above them all in the end and that his hard work paid off.
