Your pig sounds so cute omg. All mine does is go ballistic over me getting him fresh water
thats what my other guinea pig does omfg and she sheds eveRYWHERE AND WONT SIT STILL WHEN I TRY TO GET HER OUT BECAUSE SHE GETS CONFUSED ABOUT THE SOUND OF MY TYPING SO SHE SQUEAKS A LOT AND LOOKS EVERYWHERE LIKE WHAT'S GOIN ON
this ones just really really cuddly tho omg but she neVER stops squeaking

Maybe they just think she’s gonna bite them like sometimes I get worried my piggy is gonna bite me but he’s just sniffing me with his mouth open I guess
but like she never even does anything vaguely concerning she doesnt make me jump or anything she just sits there and squeaks a lot and tries to get closer to my face

and now i think i like it very much even tho im only 5 minutes into the second one

Do not look at the hooded figures
and no dogs are allowed in the dog park
yeah it is really unfortunate , but then there are the ones that live for ever, like theres this lady that is a hundred something. She takes about 5 hours eating dinner, but shes such a trooper. But yeah, them passing away is unfortunate, but like... i feel like the perks of the job outweigh that, you know? like you get to meet these amazing people and get a little insight on their long lives, its pretty neat
it's definitely a really hard job
i mean apart from the fact that sometimes people pass on and sometimes people are sick and it's hard to deal with that
you also don't get tips, sometimes you have to do extra things like helping them get to their room or helping people with their wheelchairs or whatever, sometimes they forget where they are/get mad at you for something that makes no sense at all/stuff like that
it's very difficult but at the same time it's a really good job like you get to meet a lot of cool people and some of the residents are just rly rly cute uvu
plus I just really like helping people and i like old people a lot
i love all the people i serve and such uwu they be such sweet hearts and it really does make the job enjoyable and such. but have you had someone you were attached to pass away yet? oh my god, its awful. this one lady i just loved so much, she was a painter so we talked about art all the time and i got so attached to her, and she passed on without warning, its was terrible. Its such a great job but heart breaking at the same time.
hhh yeah I've had that happen several times
always out of nowhere too no one would even tell me I'd just be like "hey I havent seen so and so in a while" and someone's just like "oh yeah she died like two weeks ago" and im just whAT?? ? ?
it's really unfortunately common, once you get to that age i guess your body just kind of goes when it goes :c
old people are great they really are, i love working with them. theres this one guy, I take his order every night and every night he gets the same thing, but he always forgets what he orders. and he just loses it and is so ecstatic and surprised when I tell him I already know what he wants. I think he's convinced I can read his mind. He also sings too like he burst into song half way through me taking his order and i couldnt stop laughing
o mf g that alwaYS HAPPENS THEY ALWAYS GET THE SAME THINGS AND THEY'RE SHOCKED IF YOU REMEMBER
they always sit in the same spot and order the same stuff omfg they're very stuck in their habits
