Pan people make my heart sing and the clouds refrain from the sky and the sun open up its vast blinding beauty simply as existing in and of themselves. May the moon memorize your awaking paths and the dust of the Earth keep you in their arms 🌱

Every mspec identity such as bi, pan, abro, omni, ply, fluid etc. is such a beautiful gift
Our existence is extraordinary in a world full of monosexual ideals that bruise us and break us down
Yet here we are despite the hiding from loved ones and ourselves.
Here we are in the face of infighting in the multisexual spectrum community that tries to rip apart what we have built.
Here we are, alive and breathing because of the bi, pan, abro, omni, ply, fluid, and multi family like us that has come before and faced our pain and made it through.
Here we are as a community free to be ourselves, young and elderly, new and old, bleeding wounds and ancient scars.
We are family
We are the multisexual spectrum
We are mspec
We are an infinite concept of unending stories and diversity and power
Of never ending understanding of the depths of love
Here we are
We are alive and breathing
Our society couldn’t hold us down
Here to be you and us and me
We are free.
Okay so I really do like the representation with Pride tags in tumblr but I’m just also really sad that there are so many identities that didn’t get recognition that should. Especially mspec identies like omni, abro, ply, and multi attracted people whether it be romantic and/or sexual should be represented. Like, I adore that bisexual and pansexual and aromantic and others were added, but then you have a sobering grayness to piece of a spectrum of beautiful and infinite color. It is representation. It is progress. But we can do better.
I hope and pray anti mspecs find a better purpose than to bother pan, omni, multi, ply and other multi spectrum identities because like knitting or rolling around in grass sounds like such a better plan than fighting a losing battle that just can’t be won 🧶🌱
💖💖💖Me when I see another pan person:💖💖💖
I love the pluralian flag so much because of the non-binary inclusion and bisexual flower. That was the original coined meaning of the term bisexual it ties us back to mspec/pluralian history. And also I feel it implies we are all beautiful flowers. Like a bouquet 💐 where each flower 🌹🌺🌼 represents every individual’s given attraction within the multi spectrum. ✨and it’s pretty✨
I think that a lot of the misunderstanding and bitterness between BaBs towards other mspec identities is the difference between connotative and denotative meanings of words. Or at least that was my problem not being comfortable with mspec when I was a BaB. Like absolutely pan, ply, omni, multi and bi have very similar functions and definitions. Their denotative meaning is attraction to multiple genders. However, they have different connotative meanings and that’s why people choose different labels. The denotative meaning of omni is attraction to multiple genders, but its connotative meaning is attraction to all genders with gender as a factor of attraction. The connotative meaning of bi ranges from attraction to two genders to all genders. Because of bisexuality’s vast history in a binary world it is hard for some people to do away with the “bi” of bisexuality including many people that identify as bi. I’ve seen this in how most bi memes and jokes revolve around “two” things or almost always referencing men and women when the denotative meaning of bisexual is something much more vast and infinite. The history of bisexuality is too fluid and vast to be pinned down. One study likened trying to find an agreeable definition of bisexuality to trying to pin jello to a wall, the more you pin in down the harder the task becomes. Bisexuality in a general sense means attraction to more than one gender however the individual understanding of the word depends on the person. It’s the same reason that when the word sandwich comes to mind one may think of a grilled cheese while another will think of a BLT. We are all different and have a different relationship to words. No matter the denotative definition of something it’s the connotative meaning of a word that reflects whether a person will use it for themselves. 💜💖💛💚💙
