PangWave Headcanons i thought about in the middle of the night

so we know how Wave had basically no peers or friends he was close to before meeting the gifted squad right? now get this: Pang changes out of his uniform in front of Wave.

and Wave’s like wHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IDIOT MORON DUMBFACE LANSKDKFKFK

and Pang’s like ????? dude im just changing ??? have you not seen other guys change ??? so he’s like “geez if it bothers you so much just turn around”

and Wave’s just kinda like ... *turns* ... *peaks*... *panics*...

Pang ofc sees him but pretends not to.

and now everytime Wave comes over for gifted stuff and whatever, Pang changes out if his uniform cuz Wave panicking is honestly the cutest thing. Wave panics a lot at first but soon enough it becomes a regular routine for them. thing is: Wave no longer tries to hide that he stares looks at Pang while he changes.

they’re both whipped, your honour.

okay next headcanon is more of a fic but i thought about it last night and i must share:

when wave gets sick. like just a slight fever. pang goes ballistic. like actually ballistic u cant convince me otherwise. pang is always stressed from the whole “destroy the school system cuz it hurts the students” thing that when wave gets sick it’s his final straw. he gets so worked up about it and it crushes him, even if it’s not that serious.

he takes good care of Wave and focuses most of his energy on making sure he gets better. he forgets about all the other stressful things and just focuses on Wave.

Pang doesn’t like to show that he’s stressed, because he thinks Wave will look at him as weak. Seeing Wave sick is what allows him to finally release his tears of worry and frustration.

While Pang takes care of Wave, Wave takes care of Pang.

lots of cuddles and tears and words of reassurance were exchanged. After this, Pang starts to open up more about his worries to Wave, and vice versa.

i might write ficlets about these lmao but yeah that’s all i got :D

#thegiftedweek day 3 - PangWave Coffeeshop au: a coherent list of events and headcanons.

☕️Pang’s family owns a coffee shop that has been around since forever.

☕️Pang works as a barista in the shop. He doesn’t enjoy it much, but he doesn’t have any passions or interests that lead to stable careers, so he keeps his job as a barista.

☕️ Everything is boring until an unfamiliar customer named Wave shows up at closing time and asks for an iced americano with 3 shots of espresso. 

☕️ Wave is new to town and drowning in student debt, he just recently graduated from university.

☕️ It’s like 11 pm and Wave is just chugging down his highly caffeinated americano. He’s the only customer there and Pang’s just stares at Wave as if he were an elephant wearing roller skates. 

☕️ Wave ends up venting to Pang about being broke and not being able to find a job.

☕️ you know what that means.

☕️Pang offers Wave a job at his coffee shop and Wave accepts.

☕️ Wave is well organised and constantly lectures Pang about keeping ingredients orderly and making sure the cash register is organised. 

☕️ Wave and Pang have lunch breaks together at the rooftop of the coffee shop.

☕️Pang starts to enjoy working at the coffee shop.

☕️They often visit the froyo place a few blocks away from their coffee shop.

☕️They look at the other customers and make up backstories for them. Pang always makes outrageous stories while Wave makes educated assumptions based on his observations of the customer.

☕️Pang likes to stick post-its on Wave while they work when he isn’t looking. It always takes ages for Wave to notice, but when he does, Pang gets a wack on the head :).

☕️When Pang visits Wave’s apartment for the first time he’s surprised that it’s a mess. Wave is still struggling financially so Pang offers to get him a raise. Wave declines, so Pang offers to let him move into his condo instead.

☕️Once Pang assured Wave that it wouldn’t be a bother, he moved in. But sadly, there was more than one bed.

☕️They develop mutual feelings gradually, but Pang is in denial while Wave wouldn’t dare to confess in fear of ruining their friendship, or even being kicked out.

☕️The coffee shop had it’s fair share of regulars, but there was a couple that Pang always remembered: Punn and Claire. They would always come over for coffee dates and Punn always arranged suprises on their anniversaries.

☕️When Wave was hired, Punn and Claire told him embarrassing things about Pang when he first started working at the shop. They got along pretty well.

☕️Claire would also come to the coffee shop with her colleagues, Namtaan and Ohm. Namtaan was observant, so was Claire, but Ohm? Not so much.

☕️Claire and Namtaan has supsected that Wave and Pang liked each other, but never said anything about it. Until Pang one day told Claire about his feelings.

☕️ “He probably doesn’t like me back, though.” Pang says to Claire.

☕️and Claire’s just like you fool. you absolute idiot. you pea-brained neanderthal. She tells Pang to confess to Wave. And he does, because Claire can be scary sometimes.

☕️He sticks a post-it on Wave’s back that says “I like you” and waits in agony.

☕️ Wave notices it while the two of them are restocking ingredients in the back. He’s ready to give Pang a wack in the head until he reads what it says.

☕️“You like me? Like, you like like me?”

☕️Rooftop coffee dates

☕️Remember when I said there was two beds? Not anymore.

PangWave Headcanons Because Episode 6? Who? We Don’t Know Her.

First Kiss Edition

They def kissed before they actually became boyfriends. In fact, that first kiss was probably the confession. I imagine them in pang’s room devising some kind if plan and then they realise holy shit his face is kinda close to me. and they just sorta stop their serious convo about overthrowing a school system and just stare. Their faces are inches apart, they break eye contact when pang glances and wave’s lips and they both kinda just telepathically know that they’re gonna kiss and they both just slowly scooch closer to each other on Pang’s bed and its kinda awkward but they’re both yearning and the tension of the mutual pining brings them closer together until wave closes his eyes and pang cups his face with is right hand and they s m o o c h. But once they make contact they dont wanna stop so they do be kissing for a hot minute. and Pang uses both of his hands to hold Wave’s face and he massages his neck and shit and Wave is just getting high off of Pang’s touch so he grabs him by the waist and pulls him closer and they’re still kissing and Pang wraps his arms around Wave’s neck and Wave just situates Pang onto his lap and hugs his waist.

and now they’re making out and its magical and the tension explodes and once they break away theyre still holding each other and panting and they both get really flustered after realising what just happened like KAMSNDKFKFMJFKFFJFI the gay panic is real bruv.

then pang breaks the silence and asks... do you like me. like the dumbass he is.

and wave is like tf we just made out ofc i like you dumbass.

and they giggle and its cute and they’re shy and just uwu smol smol.

wave sleeps over for the night and they just cuddle each other and wave’s like we didnt even finishing the fucking planning thhe scheme shit and pang’s like shhhhhhhh cuddle me

and when they wake up wave’s a fuckign tomato and pang just snuggles cuz he needs the serotonin real bad.

during the meeting with the rest of the gifted gang they steal glances at each other and blush and claire is blinded by their disgusting love and its so obvious that something happened between them last night. the gifted squad are like bitch finally cuz they all knew they liked each other it was obvious. mr pom probably knew as well.

No one teased pangwave that day but they did gossip behind their backs, arguing about who started it and how much actually happened.

Ohm was sure they fucked but everyone was like there’s no way bitch they too fucking shy and dumb for that shit
