Hadn't mentioned it here yet but I'm updating my spidersona's civie design to look more like me and less similar to Peter

I cannot play Mar.vel Rivals (true) and I don't have much interest in it (becoming less true by the day) but the urge to insert Panic into it is so strong...

I really need to finish Panic's redesign for their symbiote form. I forgot how much I love having a spidersona. They just still feel really plain right now

For somebody whose spidersona is a huge spider centaur, I've criminally underused the book I own on Australian spiders

I've had nothing to say about Panic in ATSV simply because I don't feel any place for them in the story or with the characters 🤷 I think they just wouldn't be invited to join the Spider Society.

(Honestly I've felt the most connection/desire to have them interact with other people's spidersonas, bc just like last time I'm blown away by people's creativity)

Elliot Montague, they/them, aka Panic

(A redesign of my Spider-sona, complete with some art of their symbiote)

Elliot is an amateur superhero, bonded with a symbiote named Panic. In their day job, Elliot is a private investigator, who occasionally uses skills from their ‘friend’ Panic the hero in order to help out with case work. Elliot and Panic had been bonded together for a few years now; Elliot was originally in one of the worst spots of their life when they met the symbiote, but over time they learnt to look after themselves (both themself and Panic) better and improved both physically and mentally. They’re now doing much better.

Panic is a large purple-red symbiote. Although genderless, she uses she/her pronouns. In her smaller, more blob form, she has two ear-like nubs on her head. Panic has a seemingly calm disposition, but is incredibly open about the fact that she is from an alien species capable of death and taking over worlds. However, she has an incredible weakness for pets and friendly scratches.

When fully formed, their superhero persona (stylised as Panic* here for clarity) is a huge spider-centaur creature. It has the massive jaws, teeth, tongue, and the claws typical of other symbiotes, not to mention eight spider-like limbs (along with their own two human arms). This form can look scary to people, but Panic* avoids scaring children in particular as much as possible (they have a little bit of a soft spot when it comes to kids). In addition to this, Panic* also has a less powerful humanoid form, with four spider legs coming out of their back. This form still retains the other symbiote features.

Elliot is prone to the quips and joking typical of wall-crawlers, and is outgoing despite their monstrous appearance as Panic*. When they are outside of ‘costume’, Elliot seems like a pretty chill and non-confrontational guy. This is somewhat of a cover, as they are frequently stressed and tired from their commitments, but Elliot likes to cover it up with their sense of humour.
