2) Fave song off pretty odd

Northern downpour. HANDS DOWN NO CONTEST. The beautiful intro where Brendon’s voice comes in so softly in one headphone, cooing “if all our life is but a dream” makes me tear up so much. So many of the lyrics were completely relatable to me during my teen angsty year. I’m a Capricorn, so I felt so connected to “fragile Capricorn” (duh, it’s my blog name) my favorite lyric of all time also comes from this song “I know the worlds a broken bone, but melt your headaches call it home” to this day, this lyric is applicable to everything I see and experience in the world. Life sucks, but we gotta keep on going.

I wish Brendon still played it, but I understand why he doesn’t.

11) Fav song?

Freak thats too hard to even decide!!! Nicotine because it’s still my ringtone, northern downpour because it’s my favorite lyric of all time, king of the clouds because it’s more relevant to my life right now?? I literally cannot pick between these, so it’s all of them.

Ugh I hate this question. I love all the albums equally for different reasons. But if I had to pick.... AFYCSO. With PFTW being RIIIIIGHT behind it.

9) fave era

This is hard. the current era will always be my answer. I love all the new things Brendon is always doing, the new directions, I support him with it all. Plus the whole recency thing, where the newest is your fave is really a thing. Plus now with PFTW Brendon is breaking so many barriers down, breaking records, getting the recognition he ALWAYS deserved. But I also really REALLY love the later AFYCSO years, like right before PO came out. That was when I was like 14, religiously listening to AFYCSO and falling in love with panic. That was the beginning of this lifelong relationship I’ve had with this amazing band, my life literally changed and I look at those memories so fondly. So that era has a very special place in my heart ♥️

8) fave song covered

Ooo this is a tricky one!! Panic actually has some great covers to chose from. It’s gotta be tied between Radiohead’s karma police or the smashing pumpkins tonight tonight. Tonight tonight is soooo absolutely beautiful, I love all the instrumentals and of course Brendon’s angelic voice cooing “believe in me cuz I’ll believe in you” I think these covers are just so nostalgic for me, so unless Brendon covers like a Halsey song or something, nothing can top these.

7) fave bonus track

Turn off the lights. This is my absolute fave song from the v&v era. I almost listed this for question 3, but saw that this question existed. I was so upset back in the day that this wasn’t included in the official album, but I’m so glad it was released with the bonus stuff. Brendon’s voice always sounds so good but you can just hear the urgency in his voice here “I got my heavy heart to hold me down” fuck me up fam, fuck me up.
