The set of Panpastels I ordered got here. I went with the "portrait set" as it was a much better deal than singles. Now that it's here I see that they don't have their own individual lids. :/ They screw into each other in stacks. I don't like it.

I'm not feeling very confident in these colors either. I haven't used them yet, and I hope things look better in action. Cause it doesn't look like the browns are anywhere near dark enough.

So feeling kinda meh right now but we'll see.

One of my favorites... this one is a result of a happy accident. I was playing around with my new pan pastels and colored pencils, and as I was finishing, I accidentally dropped my pencil leaving a giant mark on the page. I happened to be texting Natasha at the same time and sent her a picture of the ruined piece. She replied “what would Bob Ross do? That looks like a happy accident to me. Turn it into a bird!” I had the biggest “duhh” moment and turned it into a bird. I later got it printed onto a tapestry to give to her but she passed away before I could send it to her.
