#in school they made me use non-cursive & i was only allowed to use every second line on a sheet of lined paper oTL #but yeah the writing you see in my comics is me trying so so so s os so so sos osooso so hard & painful #hand lettering takes 5x longer than any other thing on the page no exaggeration #''aarix how can you read that'' that's just the thing. it's more of a mnemonic device than *writing* per se....

gf pointed out that sir heron should talk in a ridiculous blackletter font all the time. I'm going to have to get a smaller pen for it if I'm gonna do it small enough for comics but yeah.

#maybe i should invest in a Pilot Parallel pen #the idea of filling in a form at the doctor's office in blackletter calligraphy is really compelling #yes legible basic comic allcaps takes me nearly as long to write legibly as gothic script #i'm not saying my calligraphy is GOOD but like. dysgraphia resigned lol #it's funny what things it effects vs doesnt. i still dont kno how I'm able 2 draw at all #hang on i'll show you.
