Y’all can NOT tell me no one in the bnha universe with a cat quirk has not pretended to be a cat and lived their life peacefully. So, I present to you, Hikari Ryōshi!

Their father had a full on cat quirk, like the one that police rando had. Mutation quirks seem pretty common in bnha after all. Anyways, their mother had a fire quirk that allowed her to produce small flames of any color she desires. However, their maternal grandfather had a shifting quirk their mother didn’t inherit. This unexpectedly passed down to them, and they were able to shift into.... a human! Their main form is a common house cat, but they can hold a human form for up to 4 hours per day. They are able to shift the cats appearance as they please. They were born human, and their quirk kicked in a bit late (age 6). They had a shitty home life so at age 13, they ran away after setting their mothers house on fire (their parents split up when they were 1). She survived, but was severely injured. They were taken in by a small family of 2 (A mother and a young son) under the guise of an adorable kitten. They live a relatively simple life, with a side of vigilantism whenever the two are out. They’re a little shit and brag abt their sneaky ways to all of their vigilante friends. Secretly, they really care about the family.

Been having fun thinkin about them for the past few days. I’ll talk more about them later.

Who is your character most glad to have met? Why? Is the feeling mutual?

For Arden, it’s Esta! Like I’ve stated before, before adopting Esta as their sibling they were a wanderer. Not out of need/desire for adventure, but because nothing particularly held them down. There was no reason to stay In one place, so they just didn’t. While it was very freeing and fun at times, they wanted something to ground them. They consider Esta their closest friend despite the age gap and regularly converse with them and teach them. Both have taught each other different things. The feeling is definitely mutual :]
