Blaise x Daphne, ofc, Leverage AU

When society decided to make it utterly impossible for anyone with remote ties to a terrorist group known as Death Eaters to get a job, a certain group of down-on-their-luck socialites decided it was high time they found an…alternative revenue stream.

"The reason Blaise isn’t grifting, is because apparently the Queen of England remembers him,” Daphne, self-proclaimed mastermind of the crew, is explaining half irritated to her hacker sister through the comms - Draco, the hitter and the only one with actual ties to Death eaters, was too recognizable, and Pansy, their thief, was needed elsewhere.

There is a smirk on his face as he approaches her, and something playful in those brown eyes when he leans in close to whisper, “I’ll make it up to you, darling, I can make tonight unforgettable.”

Daphne had cleared her schedule for the day, a task that entailed far more effort than she'd thought was necessary. She'd sent her father a letter, a quick note to let him know that the elder Greengrass would be busy for the day and to please send any requests to Astoria first - it was a Saturday, after all, her sister could handle any sudden needs that arose. And it'd be good practice for the future. She then gave the hired elves the day off, though what on earth they'd do with that free time, she didn't know. There had been significant protests at her proclamation, and in the end Daphne finally told the lot to do whatever they wanted as long as she wasn't bothered.

Then, she'd had to gather up the necessary supplies for her endeavour. This was not nearly as difficult though, since all the beauty and hair potions she liked to use were neatly arranged on her vanity. Picking out a lovely plum shaded clutch magically enlarged on the inside from her boudouir, to match with the lavender robes she was wearing today, Daphne threw in the beauty products as well as a few bottles of nail paint. Satisied she had everything she needed for a relaxing day in, the brunette headed to the fireplace in the main hall, one of several connected to the Floo Network. She would have used the one in her own room, but it had just been cleaned and the hazel eyed witch had no desire to dirty it again.

A generous pinch of Floo Powder and the orange flames gleamed green. "Parkinson Townhouse, London," the pureblood enunciated careully, before stepping into the fire. Immediately she appeared in the Townhouse sitting room, and the vain woman was pleased to see that her friend was nowhere to be seen, allowing her a few moments to brush off her robes and ensure that her hair was still in place. Placing her purse on the elegant glass table in the middle of the tastefully decorated room, the witch strode into the hall as if she owned the place. "Pansy!" she called out in a cheery voice as she headed towards the kitchen, looking for her best friend. "It's been ages since we've had a proper day out and before you can blow me off again, I'd like you to know I've decided we deserve a girl's day in."

I suppose my best friend would be Pansy Parkinson.

That whole "pug faced" thing is such a rumor - honestly, one picture with Bertie Bott's every flavored beans, earwax and liver to be precise, in her mouth and everyone thinks her face is permanently wrinkled up that way.

She's actually an excellent flyer even if she pretends not to be. (If she hadn't been working her careful manipulations on Draco, she might have even been able to try out and take his place as Seeker.)

Pansy likes to braid her hair before bed so that it doesn't get tangled. So does Daphne - it's how they became friends their first night at Hogwarts.

She doesn't particularly care for pansies. She does like a classic red rose if the occasion is appropriate. (In all honesty, flowers aren't her thing - that's Daphne's department.)

Pansy is the only one who knows about that one time Daphne stuffed her bra to get a certain boy's attention (only once for Merlin's sake...he was cute!!!).
