So was Alba trying to slide into someone’s DMs and just royally fucked up?

Posting a video to IG Stories and posting a video in IG DMs are two completely different actions that a person couldn't mix up. She did what she did on purpose, with some kind of intent. Why people are now trying to look for a million reasons to somehow absolve her of responsibility is beyond me.

You can send it directly to a single person from the same screen as public posting (the arrow to the right of the “your stories” and “close friend” options) /

MEH if she was trying to send a DM to someone you go to the inbox and press SEND, it does not give you the option to also post the message on stories. Let me be more specific: when you’re sending an Instagram direct message, it only shows the option “Send” not the option to post it in your stories.

Now if you want to post a story then yes you click your pfp and there it gives you the option to post it in story and SEND it through DM. So she HAD to clic her pfp option to post the story anyways.

On the other hand, if she was actually trying to send a DM, let’s say to her boyfriend, why Instagram? doesn’t she have his number?

To elaborate even further, let’s give her the benefit of the doubt (she doesn’t deserve it tho) I read Ariana Grande posted a story accidentally cause she was using Instagram stories editing tools for a video. I can see Alba doing that, using the editing tools to edit her shower show and pressing post by accident, then deleting her acc in panic lol

BUT STILL THERE ARE two more buttons to confirm posting a story before you post it so.
