Hello all two of you who are fans of my Overblot fan-designs for Twisted Wonderland

I made a Silver

You know the drill, me talking about design inspo + lineart and alts under the cut

(Yes I hc Silver with Silver eyelashes so the eyelashes are colored on the lineart layer) ^Lineart

I had the random idea of making an alt where the blot on the face was white/silver (badumtish) because Silver’s one of the characters that use light magic instead of void magic, but that’s kinda hard to see with the skin color so Anyways I based my OB!Silver on a mixture of prince Philip’s sword, Riku from Kingdom Hearts, and the spindle that put Aurora/Sleeping Beauty to. Well. Sleep.

The sword inspiration is also why I color picked from Malleus’ Overblot for the skin color, to make Silver look more like a sword, sounds weird but yeah I did actually attempt that with the posing as well

As for the Riku from Kingdom Hearts inspiration, I meant I took inspiration from the Replica, Dark mode, and Dark coat versions Specifically

I mean. I could base it on Riku in general rather then a version but I honestly think it’d be hilarious to twist a TWST oc out of Riku so you could have them and Silver spiderman pointing at each other

(The tap-dancing rodent appears in Kingdom Hearts so yeah technically you should be allowed to make twists of Kingdom Hearts characters for your ocs or even making background NPCs detailed, I know I’m making a Twist oc that’s Twisted from Axel-)

However my initial plan was actually going to base OB!Silver off of knights (based on the sword), the spindle, and Aurora herself

I actually almost finished the lineart when Riku was knocking at my mind with a Rook style “Bonjour.” reminding me of his existence because when I was looking at the Twisted Wiki earlier to educate myself on Silver’s story

(…I’m only on book 4 okay I just know Silver was adopted by Lilia and is randomly going snork mimimi) and saw a comment mentioning Riku

I didn’t think to use Riku as inspiration until I had Silver’s hair on there-

So yeah this first idea right here

It was scrapped, the only thing that stayed as you can see is the thorns on his limbs

(If you wanna know what the colors where gonna be, it was gonna be have dull pink half dull blue)

And also the spindle wheel with thread like puppet strings, but I didn’t even draw that yet before the outfit overhaul

Speaking of that, it wasn’t really supposed to mean anything, I just thought it’d look neat, but I guess you could spin it to be a representation of Maleficents sleeping curse and the fact he just passes out a lot

Anyways all I have to say about his face blot is I kinda tried to make a mask design based on Riku’s mystery blindfolded man design because Eh the Overblot Silver is inspired by Riku anyways

I’ve come with another Fan-Overblot I was intending to stop at Cater cause he was my favorite plus again *points to Overblot watchlist he should be on*

But I was listening to Novocaine, blacked out, and a Trey Overblot was on my screen

I might make this a design series at this point no promises though Anyways I’ve jokingly nicknamed him the Bone Fairy cause of that one Tumblr post pointing out its potential existence and someone put Trey over it (i dont have ether image saved) and my OB!Trey is essentially like a much larger and more hostile Tooth Fairy

I mean I seriously gave him a toothbrush as a weapon (not fully in frame but he’s got it)

Now there’s me talking about the design again + Lineart only bonus under the cut, I intended to include Cater’s in my OB!Cater design post but I forgot so yeah his linearts there too

And also Alt’s because OB!Trey has way more Alt’s than OB!Cater-

Honestly this is my honest reaction trying to color this monstrosity

Anyways ignoring my piss poor coloring-

Onto inspiration and stuff for the design:

My inspirations where mainly dentists,

(because I heard Novocaine for the first time since becoming a TWST fan, I’ve heard the song in general before, and as I listened my brain immediately started pointing blinking arrows to Trey like “HmMM DOESNT THAT SOUND LIKE SOMEONE FROM THE NEW GAME YOU LIKE? HMMMMM? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?”)

Alongside Tooth Fairy from Reverse: 1999 (mainly cause of the dentists), and The Mad Hatter

As for why I didn’t give him glasses, for one: it felt like they made his face too crowded with everything added on and two

Azul has glasses yet his Overblot doesn’t have glasses, just saying

(Yes it could be just because he’s an octopus and glasses don’t work in the sea but it’s 5x funnier to imagine Overblotting temporarily improves your eyesight because it doesn’t like nerds)

As for the blot design and placement for OB!Trey it is also more willy-nilly for his arms it’s kinda just slapped on like Cater’s was

but I also tried to make teeth like designs out of it, I don’t know if that’s actually possible but hey I don’t know if diamond hair or eyes are possible with Overblotting *stares at OB!Cater* so what do I know

With his face I also attempted to mimic Tattoos like how pretty much every canon Overblot is (even though the canon ones look a lot like lace or fishnet) with the large clover over his eye and the entire side of his face being covered with teeth markings (that sounds sus out of context-)

I don’t know how Trey would Overblot I just know he has the requirements and my OB!Trey would be a fucking nightmare especially if teaming up with OB!Cater like just you see a bunch of armored Cater clones with stitched smiles approaching you with pliers as they’re after your teeth it sounds ridiculous until you realize that Trey’s after your teeth and plans on leading you bleeding out unlike a NORMAL Overblotter who’d just squish you + OB!Cater’s clones are like a hydra but instead of it just being heads its the whole clone so if you where to kill one three more spawn in place so you have that.

Plus he covers more ground with the Cater army

And if he teams up with Riddle it’s just gonna be:

OB!Riddle: “OFF WITH ALL YOUR HEADS”

OB!Trey: “Can I have their teeth.” OB!Riddle: ”……………...*very hesitant* sure.”

OB!Trey: “OFF WITH YOUR HEADS”

So I was attacked by inspiration cause it’s me ya boy coming out of nowhere again with another new hyperfixation

Anyways I come with a fanmade Cater Diamond overblot design this man needs to be on an overblot watchlist-

Then two Alts own with a red eye and one with a green one, because the red matches the rest of the palette and green is Cater’s actual eye color and my dumbass forgot if Overblotting changes your eye color while you’re blotted

But the green looks kinda nice anyways

Whatever this things the fandoms now.

Now if you wanna hear me ramble on about his design inspiration and reasoning for certain choices and whatnot be my guest it’s under the cut

My Cater Overblot design was heavily inspired by Riddle’s Overblot design and the Card Soldiers

However I was also inspired by that one written concept of a Cater Overblot I mentioned earlier (this is it)

Which is mainly how I picked the Red/Black/White palette and why I had his hair fading into white as if it’s made of diamonds (yes. That’s what it’s intended to be I’m not a very good artist.)

And why I chose to give his Split Card clones their own design, while I didn’t draw them, a separate design for them does exist

I also gave him a diamond eye because this design isn’t official anyways and I thought it’d match the diamond hair

As for Cater’s outfit: I did already say it’s based on Riddle’s Overblot, which is inspired by the Queen of Hearts, therefore technically Overblot Riddle is the King of Hearts?

Anyways Cater is intended to be a sort of King of Diamonds in that aspect, however I added knight-like armor as a nod to the Card Soldiers (more specifically the chest armor, the one shoulder piece and Kind of(?) the shoes

For his pose I made it like the traditional Overblot pose of just floating there. Menacingly.

However I spread his arms and hands out (not nearly as much as Idia’s Overblot pose though) as if he’s like “where’s my hug at” because he (and every Canon-Overblotter) need hugs and major therapy I swear to Crowley-

For the placement of his Overblot ...Blot. For his arms I kinda just slapped it on randomly and went “hMm That’s good”

But his face Blot had thought and meaning with it, it’s intended to be dripping out his eyes and down his face like black ink like tears,

Cater sort of represses any emotion that isn’t positive, so therefore if Cater goes insane from intense emotions and magic overlord those emotions will blow up like if you violently shook up a soda bottle and immediately opened it-

But instead of him bawling his eyes out blot gushes out of his eyes like a nonstop overflow of tears

As for his “Card Soldiers”/Split Card clone design:

They don’t really have anything to them other then they’re intended to be in full armor with masks, however there’s one important thing to them:

They have stitched on smiles. They physically cannot frown.

This is because of Cater acting the way he does and once more, suppressing his damn emotions-

@aaroleswapau ‘s swap Phoenix, swapped with Edgeworth: *Wondering why the fuck the other Phoenix has that gadget and has silver hair, wondering what fucked up shit happened* . . . My swap Phoenix/Emberwing, swapped with Godot: I eated poison glass and paid the price

Plus my swap au Diego in the background faintly as a way simpler doodle: *has been blinded one too many times by his Phoenix’s badge, literally* Oh fucc there’s two now

(I didn’t know what to @ for the other swap au so I just kinda went with @-ing the swap blog for it-)

So I’ve got a Cult of the Lamb x Pokémon au, and it’s not gonna be what you might think (at least I don’t think-) Anyways art I have of it based on the Cult of the Lamb title screen

I call it the “Cult of the Volo au” and more info under the cut cause yeah it’s a lot-

So the Cult of Volo au takes place in the past, on an alternative universe where in Hisui people creating cults in Pokémon’s names instead of catching them and battling with them, and Most of the people in these cults have Pokémon like features, so there’s both normal full humans and these human Pokémon fusions

And you’d think that these “Pokéhumans”/“Humamons” would be outcasts right? Wrong they sacrifice the normal humans to their cults- So if you’re a normal human in one of these cults yeah expect yourself to be one of the first sacrifices

Anyways Volo (who’s a normal human) ends up as a sacrifice to a different cult because he’s in the Arceus cult and how much he worships them, and this other cult is like “yeah he doesn’t deserve them let’s sacrifice this simp for our own Pokémon god”

But haha he ends up meeting Arceus themselves after death/being sacrificed instead and is revived as their special vessel due to his extreme worshipping, with the power of this au’s version of The Red Crown (which, rn isn’t changed but might later down the line)

And this is in exchange for being tasked with making their named cult more powerful and taking over as the leader, to which Volo agrees

(Now in Cult of the Lamb canon The Lamb didn’t have a choice, only having “yes” and “absolutely” as choices, but here Volo would technically get a choice to say no (but would die again) but he just yeets that option out the window)

Now why did I make this au? Idk I just got the game and I named my cult “Volos weed stash” for shits and giggles then I went “wait a minute I could do something with this-“

And the train twins exist here due to being portal-d to the past

This is like an actual au but rn All I’m thinking of is out of context shenanigans from my actual play through-

Yeah I decided to redraw that but with my Rain Code swap au and whoops my hand slipped and I accidentally made them kiss on the lips
