Overblotting…I think your lungs start to fill with this heavy suffocating ooze, you will lose complete control over your body, you physically morph into something else entirely, a complete beast. You feel deep pain as you transform into this…thing. And if you fight it, it becomes excruciating so you just give in at some point, the pain becoming too much to bear and allowing it to consume you because truly what else can you really do? Your heart pounds, feeling a mix of deep terror and confusion but also…the power you have a grasp on feels SO incredible…thrilling even. You almost don’t want this high to ever end. This horrifying yet satisfying release of the emotions you’ve continued stuffing for god knows how long. But once it’s over, you become utterly drained for AGES, having the worst crash of your life and coming to terms with what you did in that state.
I have to wonder if some people that overblot sometimes miss being overblotted, just because having such deep power in those moments, the high and rush that it can give can become addictive. Not the pain of it…the other effects are horrific and terrifying but that deep rush of power and adrenaline and energy it can provide in the moment. Even if they don’t consciously remember it, perhaps a part of their psyche may retain the memories.
