A great designer has passed today at 83. I remember my senior year at RIT, Michael Beirut came for a talk and reminisced about his days working for him. I can't remember the Pantone Red he would always use, but I can definitely remember mentioning Massimo's love for Bodoni. Riding the NYC Subway is a treasure knowing that he made it so simple to understand. Thank You Mr. Vignelli. You will be sorely missed.
