Today the 10-year-old is not so small anymore! Paola was long awaited. Laura has told openly her struggles to get pregnant with her fiancee Paolo Carta. However, the pregnancy surprised them as they were already thinking of getting help or finding other alternatives. Laura was scared that all the success she received for her music was now stopping her experiencing the happiness of becoming a mother.
Motherhood was longtime dream which she also saw her doing in her docufilm #PiacerediConoscerti in the fictive storyline "What if I hadn't won at San Remo".
Paola's name is not a reference to her musician father but instead a combination of both parents' Paolo's (PAO) and Laura's (LA). During the early years Laura protected her daughter from the public eye but things are different now and Paola accompanies her parents in some public events. For us normal people some extraordinary ways of life like travelling a lot and seeing your mom on the telly are the things that make Paola the happiest.
She's close with her grandparents, parents and her half-brothers. Paola is musical and creative but otherwise her characters reminds the most Laura's mom Gianna, they say. #HappyBirthday Paola!
