♦️ [i keep laughing every time i see u tag this as 'legs m!a' because WHere Leg!!! also one of the goo tendrils by ♦️'s left hand looks like a really tiny thumbs up which i also find hilarious] The follower can't fully understand this language, but they can tell papyrus is trying to reassure them. The follower notices something forming from the gooey eye puddle- a hand, or possibly a foot? Whatever it is, it's skeletal, and probably a good sign! They continue to Attempt Soothing.

* It pats the scaly little hand awkwardly, slowly solidifying and shifting.

* Then, concentrates.

♦ The follower laughs- a mostly soundless action, especially as the breath is being gently squeezed out of them by Papyrus. "I-I am glad y-you can think of me as, a friend, hahhha," they murmur softly, neck feathers fluffing. ((befriend the entire void just do it paps)) ((also i'll go ahead and declare this as basically end of that whole scene so that we dont both get trapped into writing about paps holding a bird monster Forever And Ever))

OF COURSE I CAN!! NYEH HEH, ANYONE WOULD FEEL INDEBTED TO HAVE SUCH A GREAT PAL, BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE TOO NERVOUS ABOUT THIS!THINK OF IT LIKE.. HANGING OUT WITH SOMEONE YOU LIKE, AND PERIODICALLY PUTTING THEM THROUGH HORRIBLE PUZZLES. THAT’S WHAT FRIENDS DO!

what if, after a while, a pap follower in the monster manual wants to make a rp blog for the follower? :o

that would be suPER cool actually!! i wouldn’t mind at all! i’d want to see it super bad too!so really, the only thing i’d have to say is that i’d like to be credited somewhere for the design, plus any art of them you use that i drew!i could probably link the blog from the monster manual if you want me to, as well!

((may i just say i really like this whole pap follower idea a lot it's really innovative and makes it easier for people who don't have actual rp accounts, to, well, interact with the blog! and overall it's just v cool i like seeing all the designs so far and all the differing anon types. one suggestion though: i would like to see more on the "pap follower" manual page like short explanations of what the followers personalities are like so far (at least for the reoccurring ones, anyway?)))

ahh thank you!!!! all i really want is for people to have just as much fun! so i’m really glad i’m making a move in the right direction!and yes!! that’s a great idea! i’ll add a couple general notes or key personality features i notice once they get a couple asks from that particular follower, so it’s a lot easier for others to pick them up if they want to!

anyone can speak as that follower! just try to follow the personality that’s been kinda laid out in the first ask, as it might be a little weird to explain them being all over the place.an d i’m not really sure if this is a major problem, but if anyone does have a problem w/ others directing the follower i drew for a symbol they sent in, please don’t hesitate to send me an ask!! this is all for fun, of course, and it’s not a hassle for me to fix things!i won’t publish it, and i’ll make a note in the follower compendium that nobody can direct that follower but the person who sent it in. it’s a little based off of faith, so please remember to check it before you use an existing follower!
