While jamming at Quartier Latin for Jazz Fest after hours... this happened. Lunise Morse, the lead singer of the haitian roots band RAM, whom I’ve looked up to since I was 5 years old, joined us on stage! I was in complete shock but I pulled myself together and sang along with her... it wasn’t easy though. I was overwhelmed with joy and the energy in the room immediately shifted. She’s a true queen. The words we’re singing mean “You are wind” You can’t see him in this video but on the drums is Joel Widmaier...
