Grateful for a slow morning to collect myself. I need a new filing system. It’s gotten out of hand—the sheer number of locations I have my files, notes to self, artwork, great ideas, financial documents, future plans, etc. I’ve realized I’m using paper files, shoe boxes of notes, google drive with multiple accounts, iCloud Drive, Evernote, the Notes app, ancient PCs I haven’t explored in years but that I know have files I want, an external hard drive, several flash drives, retired cell phones, pinterest, bunches of notebooks and journals and various stacks of yet-to-be sorted items that float around my workspace waiting to be filed. And an old tape recorder with mini cassettes from the early days. Oh, and multiple email, social media accounts (each with it’s own message repository), and websites for the various businesses I have started over the years…not to mention any of the content I posted straight to social media platforms, that I’m trusting will live there ongoing. Plus a long-forgotten Dropbox that is full of stuff…probably old band demos and graphic design projects. Anyone else have this kind of headache? How do you manage it? #stayingorganized #digitalstorage #infooverload #artismessy #paperclutter #independentmusician #singersongwriter #coloradomusicscene #diymusician #indieartist #Coloradosinger #singer #songwriter #elysemiller #lovelandcolorado #FortCollins #colorado #twitchmusicians #contentcreator #toomuchcontent #creativepersonproblems #lifemanagement #toomanythings https://www.instagram.com/p/CYxEGrBFfP_/?utm_medium=tumblr
