Sold & sold!
I initially bought the shirt for a wedding to replace a similar one that I owned but got destroyed in the washing machine. I think because it didn’t have any buttons on the front of it, it made me look childish when I wore it. So off it goes to a new home.
The camera was super sentimental. It was my first dslr and it did the long yards with me. I did my first second shooting gig with it, I shot photos that landed me in magazines and newspapers with it. It was really hard to let go and I was thinking that maybe I should have kept it as a back-up but then reassured myself that:
a. the likelihood of me needing a backup is slim as my new camera is pretty top notch (touch wood nothing will happen). I used this “theory” when my car was new. I refused to include road side assistance in my insurance because the chances of my car failing mechanically were slim. If it were a tyre issue, I would be okay as I can change a tyre. It rang true and I saved myself some cash.
b. I haven’t picked it up since I upgraded to a newer dslr at the start of the year.
