the music of the bar was as always calm, the bartender was being silent, thoguhtful and since he was someone that the marid djinn had created out of her own fantasy and magic, he matched perfectly the image of the bartender from a the old times. the type of bar tender who had an eye to read people and serve masterful cocktails with great taste. 

usagi was situated at the side of the bar with her laptop typing out the next chapter of the book she was working on but her attention soon went to one of her customers and someone trying to steal his wallet. she got up and went to the man trying to put his hand in the bag of the tall client. “i would advise you to give up and not try anything stupid like this. especially not in front of the owner of this place.” she said and snapping her fingers, three security guards came immediately to pick the man up and take him out the door. “sorry about that. the next drink is on me. i’d like to apologize for letting thieves come in and try to steal. i should have been more careful.”

Hayato doesn’t remember much. But he does dream of fierce battles in the skies, accompanied by harsh flaps of leathery wings that brought about storms, vicious snaps of teeth, and unforgiving talons that dug deep into one’s skin. Blearily blinking away the remnants of his sleep, Hayato slowly sits up from his seat in the train as it announces the coming station’s name. 

He was finally here. Excitement manifested in the gradual speeding of his pulse as he stepped off the train’s platform and followed the written directions on a sheet of paper, crumpled from how he had held it in his hands so many times. It was believed that finding this Imugi spirit would give him the answers to the strange phenomenons that plagued his life. The priests and priestesses in his hometown in quaint little town held no answers, but they had believed, based on rumors, that this individual might.

The fact that Hayato wasn’t even all that sure this person existed. But he was at his wit’s end, and there were little choices to begin with.

Making his way to the small shack by the harbor as described on the sheet of paper, Hayato adjusted the backpack he had slung over his shoulders as he shuffled up to the door. “Ex...cuse me,” his voice was thick with the accent of his mother tongue, wrinkling his nose when the pronunciation did not sound quite right. “Excuse me,” he tried again. “Is there a Mr. Song Jihan living here?” The young man rose on his toes, trying to find a window where he could peer into to observe for any signs of life.

Ahri was getting ready to get out of her apartment when she heard her phone ringing signalizing a new text received. Ahri was just wishing that wasn’t a problem for her to solve, she was tired of solving other issues. She finished her makeup and got up to get her phone, taking a deep breath as she read the text. The woman quickly sat on the bed, grabbing her phone to reply.

[txt] you wanna kill me before I eat my breakfast? I do not approve that, at least invite me to eat breakfast! [txt] in our place, in 15 minutes?

She sent the message and grabbed her purse not even waiting for him to text her back as she left the apartment. She was thankful to have an easy day on her schedule so she could talk to him before the first appointment. Didn’t take her a long time before arriving at the store, she quickly picked a table and took her seat, ordering her breakfast as she waited for the male.

     An  expression  of  vexation  flashed  across  the  pop  idol’s  handsome  features.   “  He  irons  his  handkerchiefs  ! ”   Every  word  uttered  from  those  luscious lips  was  stressed  with  emphasis.   “  I  don’t  know  about  you,  but  that  screams  EVIL  to  me  !  ”
