Piper has gotten herself into multiple difficult situations, but this might just take the cake. Investigating a crazy, dangerous cult, getting caught and then pretending to see their make believe deity, and of course, just as she was getting ready to escape after two or three days of being stuck in this hell hole, she had to get caught again. Except this time, this man is much more intimidating than the pack that captured her last time. She blames her fright on the radiation she’s soaked up, too. She can barely see now– she’d have to be an idiot to pull out her gun and try to fight her way out of here. What’s going to kill her first, the radiation or a gun to the head, she wonders. She’s not going to bullshit him either; it’s clear he saw right through her facade right off the bat.
“O-Okay, I’m not walking away. When’s the radiation resistance supposed to kick in? Because I’m pretty sure I’m dying.”

Sympathy a stranger, the inherent quiet of his voice was the only soft thing about him.
“Division finds all, sooner or later. Consider it a blessing if it reaches you quick.”
His frown deepened as he took closer note of her armaments. Could this be the true culprit behind the recent bouts of vandalism– no, desecration. From the look of the woman she didn’t belong on His island, much the same as of all of Far Harbor. Question was, did she operate on behalf of those heathens or was her trouble-making her own wicked game?
He drew even closer.
“What business do you have trespassing Atom’s Holy Sites?”
