1-15 for Maggie please!

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?Maggie loves her down time. Any time she can just sit and read for hours, she enjoys. They only come in spurts but when she gets a moment to do nothing, she takes advantage of it.

How easy is it for your character to laugh?Not easy these days. Whenever someone is on the receiving end of making Maggie laugh, they always notice how much they don’t get to hear it and how much they wish they heard it more.

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)Pure exhaustion or someone who loves her makes her lay down. She is always trying to make sure everything and everyone is okay so she’ll work without sleep.

How easy is it to earn their trust?Not easy at all. Do you blame her though.

How easy is it to earn their mistrust?hahah Very.

Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?Flexible is polite. Maggie does whatever she wants and uses magic if she has to cover something up. Sheriff Stilinski does not approve.

What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?Photos and old mementos that her family left her. She doesn’t usually enjoy the feeling because they usually come with pain or lonely feelings.

What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?Maggie was a too tall tomboy with glasses as a child and constantly downed herself so Stiles and Scott spent a lot of time trying to stop her from feeling like an ugly duckling and her mother told her she needed to start to learn to love herself because in the end, her loving herself was the most important.

Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?Maggie swears on occasion. Her first swear word was dammit at a Stilinski BBQ and while the boys thought she was a badass, her mom was not happy and grounded her for a week.

What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?Maggie is forever haunted by telling Erica and Boyd that everything was going to be okay and that she would come back for them. Their deaths hit her the hardest.

How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?Maggie will literally shake someone for an explanation so she’s not worried about being too confused for too long.

How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?Hello werewitch or the help of a loved one.

What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?Black leather. The Hale way baby.

What animal do they fear most?Herself.

How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?Maggie speaks her mind a little too bluntly. She cuts people deep and sometimes it can cause problems but she’s working on restraining herself.

O: How do you begin a story - with the plot or with the characters?

Almost always with the characters. Plot usually comes later when I think about what any OC would do in that situation, but there are certain times where it’s flipped. Sometimes certain scenes will pop into my head first, and then I have to backpedal to think of how a character would get there. Like, The Wild Side, a lot of the story was just trying to get to the point where Sadie and Stiles were dancing at the formal. But yes, usually my babies come to me before I have any idea what I’m doing with them.

P: Are you what George R. R. Martin would call an architect or a gardener?

Architect, architect, architect. I hate not knowing where I’m going. Three of my stories I’m currently working on have plot documents with 140 pages, and when I did my original story I had a plotting poster that spanned the length of my wall. I have to write down the ideas before I forget, and if they change once I get there, so be it.

Q: Do you have any discarded scenes/storylines/projects?

Lmao so many? I mean, I don’t like to say that anything I think of as discarded, because that possibility is always open. The idea that I can return to any of these things really keeps me going. I can tell you that the AU crossover I was working on with Briana of the con artist Teen Wolf OCs is definitely discarded. Just in case the several years without updates wasn’t a clue, haha.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

Oh, endlessly. Obviously the community here on tumblr is a wheelhouse of inspiration and influence. I love our space to bounce ideas off of each other and appreciate ideas and aus and prompts and creations whether or not they’ve gotten turned into stories. And more importantly, bullying each other into actually writing.

I’m a big fan of Ashevillain on Fanfiction as well, who writes by far one of the most moving and composed stories that I’ve had the pleasure to read - “What They Wouldn’t Do” for Daredevil. I really would love to strive to write like that.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

God, most of them? Fake relationship trope is one of my favorites, to any degree. Short term fake boyfriend to shake a sleezy dude at a bar to full out married because we’re undercover on a mission. I just...love fake relationships? I don’t know, there are so many tropes that I love. I wouldn’t be able to list them all.

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

I mean, I don’t think anyone really likes love triangles at this point. I might have to come back and edit this post if I think of something that really bugs me haha. What a boring answer.

U: A pairing you might like to write for but haven’t tried yet.

Oof, alright. Canon couples, I could see myself writing for Ethan and Vanessa from Penny Dreadful. I would write a completely new season three for that show if I had the drive, because I just thought it wasn’t done well at all.

As far as OC pairings I haven’t written for yet, I’ve had an OC for Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds for years that I haven’t gotten around to doing anything for. And the RDJ Sherlock Holmes. *swoon*
