women with predatory behavior should ALWAYS be called out regardless how "rare" they are. ℹ️ DISCLAIMER : for the sake of transparency I'll admit I'm clinging towards Blonde Blazer. She caught me up when it got revealed she was 2 timing Phenomaman because it's shown a crack behind a flawless facade. I don't hate Invisigal per se but I think she should've stand better if she wasn't shoved as a love interest (for reasons I'll elaborate later). I also don't like her abrasive, smartass, explicit kind of humor but I get that's a matter of taste and I find infuriating how so many ppl/her fans gloss over she being a pervert/peeping tom (which once again shows people are not nearly as serious as they claim to be about sexual harassment 🤡) and blame that on hating mOraLlY gReY character.... There are a bunch of reasons to dislike Visi and those have nothing to do with being Shroud former goon lol

True and I think that's on purpose. You guys need to remember that BB is pretty famous : she has billboards around the city, has this hero of legends aura along with Phenomaman. Robert 'knew' her from afar and was most definitely infatuated with her despite never having met her before. I know an influencer couple and during a Q&A the man said he already had a lil crush on her now wife back from when he saw her on TV years before they even dated (and while they were in different relationships themselves), so he was already into her the first time they met IRL during a professional event. I think that's what happened for Robert regarding BB. Men are MEN™️ guys.

He's a grown ass MAN. He'll see a hot chick he'll be down for it. Him being comfortable to throw around jokes about dick, shoving stuff up his ass or pegging shows he's not some ingénu clueless about the ways of (CONSENTED) sex or desire... Stop babying grown ass men.
He's infatuated by BB that's why he's more restrained around her : no dirty/crass jokes, he explicitly states he "likes her", everything is more romantic (NOT SEXUAL) because he's trying to live up the high bar she's settled at. He has to keep it classy because BB is. So yeah, of course the development of their relationship is gonna be less thrilling or more "boring" than the enemy-ish to lover one with Visi, but I think that's pretty consistent with their "upper-echelon" relationship dynamic.
I recommend you all to read the comics to understand better the reasons of she breaking up with Phenomaman. She wants to settle. Have someone that sees her as a human - not a superhero, or a work buddy (how Phenomaman saw her). The first conversation she has with Robert is very mundane ; I think that's something she misses a lot from being The Blonde Blazer all the time and having someone as clueless as Phenomaman as a partner. BB feels comfortable with Robert because she looks up his resilience and capacity of keeping up his father legacy as Mechaman for all those years. Also Robert was smart enough to not show too much how impressed he was of her and treated her like a WOMAN. She doesn't feel like she has to carry the conversation, take all the decisions around him. She falls asleep on his shoulder when it was the 1st time sthey met ffs!! She felt comfortable big time!! ... I think both Rob and BB had a BIG CRUSH from the start and that's how sometimes things are going.. not every relationship has to be an adventure, and there's definitely some beauty in the peacefulness of an unapologetic love at first sight sweet romance.
Women drawn to Visi are giving me the energy of people who love exciting adventurous relationship.
Visi is clearly the second main character of the show so the overall audience bias towards her makes sense. Her storyline carries a good chunk of the plot. DISPATCH main theme is redemption, chosing our own path/destiny regardless of our past mistakes, and the tension between what we do 'for us' vs what we do under other influence. I understand why so many girls & women may project into her and imo she carries pretty well such complex themes, but I think projecting this dynamic onto her relationship with Rob is a mistake 👇🏾
Visi loves Robert for the approval she gets from him - not him
What struck me the most about Visi interactions with Robert is how CARNAL they are. She constantly comments his body, alleged sexual preferences... When she sees pictures of Robert deceased family on his wall, instead of trying to know more about it, him and try to create an emotional bond between Robert, she immediately jumps to sass about how she's into it (in a kinky way) 🥀 When I said making Visi a love interest for Rob was a mistake is because the line between she trying to redeem herself and trying to please Robert is very blurry. And there's NOTHING worse than trying to prove yourself for a MAN. She's lowkey giving me pickme vibes, and it's crazy how nobody picked that up lol
Robert is actually romantic with BB. They have an actual EMOTIONAL bond (their conversation next to Chase at the ER). Blonde is the one who reassured Rob about his capacity. She may be his manager, she inquires him to take his own decisions...she seems to CARE about him - as a person. Not a hot White thing.

That's the question that started running into my head when I realized she could revert into rogue if being cut from the team - and therefore Rob. That's why fancying her as a love interest was a 'bad' idea (I mean, it's actually a GREAT idea in a writing sense but bad in the optics). I fear we'll never be able to know for sure. Robert is the cement of the z-team, so being cut from it could be easily conflated with being cut from his life.
I'll write down my DISPATCH final thoughts recap/essay asap but to give you a snapshot before forgetting about them :
• Invisigal is attracted by the potentiality she's seeing of herself through Rob eyes - not Robert himself, which makes their "relationship" unbalanced, one sided, and IMO not fated to stick. I wouldn't be surprised they retcon that storyline and/or make RoBBert canon for Season 2.
• There's been 2 betrayal : the z team member we cut off the team and Invisigal. Depending on the your choices, if she feels definitely rejected by SDN/Robert Visi can embrace villainness and become Shroud 2.0 (because like the previous point conveyed, it's beyond a simple PROFESSIONAL lay off: it's about seeing in Robert - a PERSON - her potential of redemption). Meanwhile the member you cut (& tortured you) comes back "home"/to the team (and seemingly forgives both themselves and Robert.). 2 betrayals but 2 very different outcomes. It's giving Judas vs Peter. Here's a clue.
