🔥-I think a lot of people who go on about how the Rogues wouldn’t hurt kids willfully forget how many times they’ve attempted to kill the Robins and Batgirls. I don’t think most of them would go out of their way to target kids, per se, but they’ll absolutely throw hands with the little shits if they need to.

🔥 on dc fandom as a whole?

I once had a guy I’d never met before ask me out of the blue what my favorite Batman comic was, and when I told him, his response was, “So, that shirt (my Batman T-shirt) isn’t just for show, huh?”

And I think that single interaction really sums up everything I could say about the fandom in a nutshell.

I’ll never forgive DC for what they did with Riddler back then.

I'm not one of those purity folks who only like unproblematic characters, (I think the Riddler novels I've been writing are proof of that, lmao,) but the fact is, Scarecrow is a villain who causes untold amounts of psychological trauma doing what he does, and enjoys doing it, Riddler is an arrogant piece of shit who doesn't care how many people he hurts in his ego driven matchups with Batman, and I'm kind of tired of people getting offended when they're treated as such.
