What was the saying? It was better to ask forgiveness after than permission before? Ryu was taking that to heart as he walked into the medical tent. But before anything else, he needed to clear his trip with the resident ringmaster, or she might really kill him for it when he got back.
“Somi?” He ducked in, knocking lightly on the tent frame as he looked around. “I’m sorry to ask this only a week after we’ve reopened, but I need to beg a huge favor from you,” he added as he stepped further in. “Are you here?”
Somi lifted her eyes from the papers in front of her, looking a bit frazzled as she looked at the closed tent flaps to the back part of the tent she was in. She had expected paperwork after officially opening, but this was… This was more than she had expected to have to handle. While her face would never give it away, she was more than happy to break to speak with Zelos. He was one of the few that, when not in a crowd, didn’t completely overwhelm her. He had even been incredibly helpful in getting things up and running.
“I’m in the back, Zelos,” She called, raising her arms above herself and quickly stretching out her muscles. He had done a lot for her, so there was a very good chance that she would let him do as he asked or her.
